Stayed there for 6 weeks every year from 1974 till 1984. Loved the koi, location, food, bar and room service. When I started paid $10 a night. In 1984 paid $28 a night. So close to Magic Island, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Waikiki, easy trip downtown. Easy trip to Tantalus

I am glad that you feel welcomed like family, as we strive to be a comfortable '2nd home' to our guests and that the team was genuinely cheerful. The hotel has been there for a long time, so some rooms were being renovated, but it was still a nice place to stay with reasonable price. The most interesting part is over at the Floating Restauraunt's koi pool. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of all sizes and all

From the time we arrived at Pagoda Hotel front desk to checking out was an overall good feeling. Special Thanks to Lynda who answered my call at the very beginning of making accommodations. Lynda provided a Welcoming atmosphere while we waited to be taken care of for our room.

Aloha Julie G, Thank you for taking the time to post such a nice review! I do apologize for the ants you encountered and the age of the property. We do have pest eradication professionals that service our property every other week, since our climate is accommodating to small pests at times. We are proudly celebrating our 55th anniversary next year, and have some major projects to improve our property on the horizon. Thank you for the nice words about our staff. I am pleased that you had a nice stay with us. We hope to have you back the next time you are in Hawai'i, or even on return from your next Vegas getaway. Me Ka Hau'oli, Paul Dun - Hotel Manager

How much is the room for 3 days
My total came out to just under $700 and the guy at the front desk said "ok so your 3 night stay and $100 safety deposit and $20 parking pass comes out to $6?? Altogether" (I lost my receipt) So anyways i waited and kept checking my card to see if they returned my safety deposit after checking out but never got it back. After the 2nd day of waiting i called and was told that sometimes it takes a day or two and the longest will be at least a week. After the week passed i called them back and was told they had never charged me for the safety deposit or parking pass, so i asked "so how i able to stay there without paying the safety deposit ?" and the woman said the payment for the deposit did not go through from the card, so i said "oh but it managed to take the room total for 3 nights?" Even though carlos said "total all together" and i swiped my card only once. I wish i didnt lose me receipt but im never going back to this corrupt place again.

The WiFi is reliable, but don't expect blazing speed. The pool is located downstairs next to the lobby.
