We were extremely pleased with the Ohana Waikiki East. The staff were all exceptional, from the bell desk employees, to the front desk employees to the housekeeping staff! They were very helpful and knowledgeable and always pleasant. The room we were given on the 19th floor had exceptional views! They offered us a Hospitality Room on the day we checked... More

We have stayed here before. A good place and convenient location. we usually stay here for short stays as we use Hawaii as a stopover to break flying hours. Always enjoy the stay. The hotel is handy to shops and markets and a short stroll to the beach of Waikiki. Close to bus routes and trolleys

We were here for three nights before taking a Norwegian Cruise of the islands. The reception was great. Free wifi, map of the area and suggestions, free gift, decent check out time, will keep bags after checkout and we have access to the pool and a place to clean up before leaving to catch our cruise. The hotel is in... More

This is our third visit to Waikiki and so far we have not had any bad experiences. The timing of this trip is perfect to do a little Christmas shopping and bargains may be had at the various markets and shopping malls. For this reason we need accommodation with a little room to move without having to dodge parcels, suitcases... More

I stay at OE 2-3 times per year for the past 10 years. Location is perfect...not on Kalakaua Ave; 1 block from beach; close enough to entertainment, shops, restaurants, Kapahulua Ave, Kaimuki, King St. I discovered that OHANA hotels so not participate in the Outrigger Discovery Loyalty program....that's a bummer. The affect of the completion of the International Market Place... More

Spent time on a Mother Daughter getaway here last week and had a wonderful stay. We were on the 16th floor with a view of the International Marketplace, the pool and the ocean to the left. Plenty of towels, toiletries, a mini-fridge, safe, iron and board, coffee and pot, but no hairdryer. Didn't think to pack one so had to... More

A good location, very very comfortable beds and a room ready for us even though we arrived well before check-in time! Would definitely stay here again. Our room was on the 9th floor and faced south, with ocean glimpses. I thought our room was good value for money. It is an easy walk to the beach and the main shopping... More

Saturday 12 November 2016 Island living cannot get any better. The Ohana East is among numerous shops & eateries and a one minute walk from the beach. Take the elevator or the escalator to access the lobby. People recommend the elevator if you have luggage as the escalator is narrow and people tend to fall. The lobby has beautiful statues... More

Aloha and Mahalo for the great review of OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger. Rooms were super small (smallest I have ever been in) and full of dust. It was very hard to breath there, it forced me to toss. Aggresive staff not only to me but also to other guests. Very bad experience. Only good thing is location near waikiki. There are better choices for same or lower price in waikiki.

Good morning, The Economy rooms are small (234 square feet/22 square meters) and marketed and priced accordingly. It is unfortunate to hear you were not satisfied with the accommodation allocation.
