Consistently the cheapest place to stay if you don't mind a no frills approach. Rooms are clean and all have a microwave and fridge. A number of ABC stores close by and a short walk to the beach but you have to cross the Ala Moana Blvd. Only downside is aircon is a bit noisy.
Parking is a problem here. Hotel is fine, but to charge for parking and not have a spot is very lame. The hotel itself is average and I was ok with the quality of the room. There are a couple of restaurants close by which is convenient.
First thing to say is that I wasn't paying 5 star prices, so I did not expect a 5 star room, facilities etc. For what I paid, my only complaint is that the A/C unit in our room was very noisy and there was a strong, musty smell. Otherwise, no problems with this hotel. The room and hotel were very clean. Staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly throughout our stay. Location is not beach adjacent, but beach was a manageable walk. Also a 15 minute walk to the main areas of Waikikki and the huge Ala Moana mall. Parking in the hotel lot was reasonable and easy. ABC store is around the corner and was great for morning coffee and other snacks. No breakfast or food services at this hotel.
Decent Hotel Close to all amenities & Beach. Only the particular room I stayed in had a bit of a musty smell and could use updated carpets possibly ? The Staff is great. Hotel Clean with basic things you need for your budget. Fridge, Microwave & Safe. Had a Moped for a day and asked about parking it for 5 minutes to access the room and they were a bit unaccommodating about that unfortunately. Mopeds don't take up much space and they there's lots of room, so shouldn't be a big deal.
We just came back. Stayed in that hotel for 8 days. Everything was nice for the price. Most importantly the place was clean, in very good location and very friendly staff. We needed them for few extra towels and they responded immediately. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The gym is very basic. Again, this is not 4 Seasons, but very good for the level. The only reason I did not say excellent and did not give 5 stars is the price of the parking. 28$/day in my opinion is a bit too much. At the end people who come to this place are not the richest and try to save some money. I do understand the hotel is in prime location and space is valuable. I do assume it is ok to charge a small fee for parking. But in my opinion having to pay 225US$ or 300Canadian $ leaves a bit of a bad taste. But, what can I do? Anyway! Thank you Ramada Staff for the excellent job and your hard work during Christmas to keep everything perfect. I hope I see you again.…
I stayed here for a week and loved it. It's located in the middle of the big named Hotels but for a lot less. Right across the street is a Hilton Hotel. I was able to use Wyndham points to pay for half of my stay which really helped. I had a room with a single king sized bed facing one of the side streets. There is no hotel shuttle so I had to catch a cab to the hotel the night I flew in and I used a rideshare company to take me to the airport when I left. There is also no breakfast option. There is, however, an Ihop within walking distance and another restaurant right outside the hotel. Wifi is free and the connection was great. The room itself was a decent size. I had no need for the ac because even in November the weather was fantastic. I also noticed that I could have opened the windows but I had no need to. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The tv had a lot of channels to watch. I didn't use them but there is a pool and laundry room on the 2nd floor. On the first floor is a small shop to purchase snacks and souvenirs. The huge Ala Moana Mall is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Right outside of the hotel is a bus stop where you can catch the city bus or the Pink trolley. I didn't know until the day before I left that the Pink trolley stopped at that bus stop. The check in was nice and the cleaning staff made sure they asked every day if I needed my room cleaned. If I ever visit again this hotel will be my number 1 choice. It's quiet, clean, and right in the middle of all the action.…
We recently had a trip to Hawaii and stayed at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki. What a great location. Check in was very quick and easy. The facility was clean and lovely. The location was fantastic. No bar or entertainment on site, but due to location we had lots of bars, restaurants and entertainment right near our front door! If we wanted quiet, there was a lovely 1st level pool with table and chairs for a quiet drink, catch up with friends and a swim. We had the large Hilton complex right across the road, so plenty to see and do there, but we had no noise or the hustle and bustle of the large resort so was lovely and peaceful. The Ramada did have a vending machine, laundry and great foyer area and was in a great location within walking distance of great bars, restaurants and shopping precincts. While there we got married on the beautiful Waile Beach! The hotel left us some gorgeous wrapped chocolates and macadamia nuts to enjoy as a gift. The staff were very friendly, easy accessible and the hotel itself lovely, clean and very accommodating. Suzie and Jeff Lowe…
This is a nice enough lower cost hotel to consider when staying in Hawaii. I was very pleased that they had placed us in a king size bed room with a balcony facing the rear of the building because the road at the front of the building is very busy and noisy. The back of the building faces a more quiet neighborhood.
Check in easy. Room clean. Check out easy. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and mall. Easy to find. Great service. Check in and check out times very convenient. Would stay here again!!!
Amazing hotel within walking distance to beach and shops. Awesome quiet rooftop pool with towels provided. Has everything you need to hand. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff and great reception area. No food or bar but plenty close by
