The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel must be the quietest place to stay in busy Honolulu and Waikiki. It's so peaceful and maintained very well. The biggest plus to staying here is that it's within walking distance of the Honolulu Aquarium and the Honolulu Zoo. It's located near The Bus stop so this trip we didn't even get a rental...

My room has an ocean view facing the strip and mountains in the background-just as stunning at night with the sparkling lights. Next to a park, so no other building blocking the view. Room was small but perfectly comfortable. Little sparrows came to my balcony to snack on the crumbs from mt chips-just adorable!

For a relaxing tasty lunch with a stunning view of Waikiki, go the the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel. There you can find on the outdoor patio a leafy table, watch endless waves and see the beach action of Waikiki from the other side of a half wall. I highly recommend the salads, especially the fruit platter. Pure bliss!

My wife had stayed at the New Otani before, when her sister was married. I had a wonderful first stay at the New Otani. My wife did an amazing job. We loved the very friendly hotel staff, house keepers, and valet folks. Robert was by far the best valet. He was incredibly helpful with directions & was very considerate. He...

Advising a friend who is going to Hawaii for the first time on a romantic trip with husband, I recalled the wonderful stays I had at Kaimana Beach with my late wife, the kind staff, ocean sounds, fantastic meals. Made me very nostalgic.

We've been going here since 2002. The hotel is older but has been taken care of and some recent remodeling it looks quite good. The private beach is public but only a few locals. On ocean front rooms you get a great few of the hotels of Waikiki, the ocean itself and spectacular Sunsets. The Hau Tree Lanai restaurant has...

Just stayed the weekend for a staycation. The room is a little small but neat. It's the view we had! We looked back at Waikiki! Since our first night we got to see the fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Because the hotel is at the foot of Diamondhead it was very quiet, unfortunately it was quite a walk in...
