Although it’s a smaller hotel, I love the aesthetic, the lobby is very comforting itself. Front desk agents and housekeepers are amazing. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean and beach under. I wish me and my partner stayed longer.
This was hands down one of the best places my friends and I stayed at. Great location for almost everything, to beaches, views and eating spots. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to any request we had. The atmosphere was definitely there could feel the Hawaiian vibes and very relaxed which made the vacation even more memorable. For sure having this place bookmarked for future events.
Had an amazing stay here with my fiancé. From the valet to the house cleaning staff, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had mentioned that it was my fiancés birthday weekend and our engagement celebration and our room was upgraded. The local beach was break-taking being clear and great for swimming and snorkeling. The room itself was a little dated but not distracting. The hotel restaurant - Hau Tree - was also very nice. Would 10/10 recommend and come back.
Greatest location for beach, park and views. Staff is super, food too. Love the feeling here, relaxation at fingertips, yet all the fun of the big resort down the road in Waikiki. Always loved the views, in or out of the water
Kaimana is at the very end of Kapiolani Park and right on the water, with a small beach. I think all the rooms have patios, and the corner rooms are absolutely amazing with beautiful, panoramic views of the ocean, and Waikiki curving around the bay. Diamond Head is behind the hotel, and of course, right across the street from the park. It's a little shopworn and could use some upgrading. For example, bring your own USB plug since my corner suite had not one single USB port anywhere. I was astonished. The restaurant is really good with lots of selections.
I had to book somewhat last minute and was lucky to find a room at this hotel. The customer service was amazing from before I arrived, once I arrived, and during my stay. The hotel is very unique and definitely a boutique hotel. The food was great, but the sunsets are even better here. I was traveling alone and felt very safe and taken care of. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
My four close friends and I had a great time visiting the island, and can't stress enough how lovely the experience was staying at Kaimana Beach Hotel. A hop away from the aquarium, as well as a skip and a jump from the zoo on foot, the location of the hotel was more than satisfactory as we were so close to the many shops and sights of Waikiki. While traveling to the island was stressful and full of complication, our time at the hotel was the exact opposite, especially after the gracious help of Quintin, who answered all of our many questions, and who made sure that we were more than adequately accommodated during our stay. The rooms were bright and spacious, moreso than we originally anticipated, and, most importantly, were without a speck of dirt in sight. For its price point, we were very satisfied with the amenities, location, and ultimately, the experience. We look forward to another visit in the future, whenever it's time to book our next friend vacation.…
Out of all the hotels my friends and I we're looking at, we decided to spend our 2 night stay at the Kaimana Beach Hotel since it was within our price range and was completely beach front. We checked in at the front desk and were immediately welcomed with big smiles. Checking in was a breeze with no complications. I didn't quite catch the front desk manager's name (looked Filipino-American), but he made sure our room was ready for us as we we're tired from our plane ride. I absolutely LOVE the ambience and decor of the lobby; you get complete flowing winds from the entrance to the beach which I thought was unique and unlike any hotel I've stayed at. There's also a beach that's literally a 20 second walking distance from the lobby to the sands. The beach isn't too crowded (which is what I personally liked) and the sand was smooth with no rocks. Our room had a king size bed, a standard bathroom, and a stunning view of Honolulu. Literally no complaints of the room (cause I'm a simple man). We did have 3 people sharing the room, so we asked for an extra pull-out bet, in which front desk sent up within 5 minutes of calling. My friends and I also wanted to order brunch from the restaurant downstairs at Hau Tree. I got the Avocado Toast and my friends got the eggs benedict. Not sure what to complain about cause the dishes we're surprisingly filling. Definintely planning to stay here again when I come back & telling my friends/family to stay here for their futures trips; you won't regret it!…
Amazing place; amazing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. With a genuine Hawaiian feel. I could not be more pleased! We will definitely be returning and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on island. This place is authentic and breathtaking!
Fantastic staff who make everybody feel welcome. From Bing on the housekeeping side, to the bar, beach and front desk just really great and add so much to the atmosphere. In saying that my MVP goes to Quintin on the front desk. Cannot speak more highly off him, just a great person who cannot do enough to make sure everybody gets to enjoy the unique experience of the hotel.
