Excellent position opposite Waikiki Beach, ocean view room on 12th floor, stayed 9 nights. Large room, very clean, staff were excellent, very helpful with every aspect from how to work the hair dryer (the circuit breaker switch had cut off power) to shuttles to get wherever we wanted to go. Only drawback was that our room had a connecting door...

Just home after 8 nights at Hyatt Regency Honolulu. Arrived at hotel 6am so we had booked our room from day before so we could go straight in. On arrival there was an i t hold up and we could not check in so we were offered free breakfast for 1/2 hour, all good then. Our room, 14th floor, was...

I just came back from Waikiki and stayed at the Hyatt. When booking I found it took some searching to find the best rate . I went with the BCAA rate that included the buffet breakfast. This was well worth it as food is very overpriced in Waikiki. Plus it was outside overlooking the ocean and available till 11 am....

Recently returned from my 6 night stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. I am a Hyatt Platinum member and had the most impressive Front Desk Employee I have ever encountered in Tom, working 12/11 when I checked in. He took the time to acknowledge my Status, Welcome Me Back to the Hotel, patiently explained all of the amenities I would...

Very well situated on exiting Hotel you are on the main thoroughfare with all the shops and hotels in close proximity, across the road you have the beach. Our room on the 3rd floor with balcony overlooked the main highway, noise was blocked out at night by double glazing, otherwise was good to listen to the music and watch dancing...

This hotel has a fantastic location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and across the road from the beach. The checkin staff are great and friendly. The rooms are neat and tidy, however they are a little dated. The doors to the rooms slam closed and can be extremely loud. The breakfast buffet is reasonable, but the food is the...

The best part of this hotel is the location. You will be right across the street from Waikiki Beach. Be sure to visit the pool and hot tub. I booked the Hyatt for three nights after switching from another hotel. The rooms are old and desperately need a remodel. I'm not sure if this true but an employee at the Hyatt said renovations will begin by Spring 2014. But they have over 1,200 rooms so it will be a long time before you'll see a newly updated room....
