The Hyatt Regency has a great location - across from the heart of Waikiki beach -- and walking distance to every conceivable Waikiki beach attraction -- resturants, shopping, the main stretch of Waikiki beach and several parks and other attractions. The hotel is comprised of two large towers -- 30 stories or so - connected by an open air mall...

The hotel feels a bit like a cruise ship. Its a large and winding property with several towers, one main pool area and lots of shops on the first floor with overly friendly staff running around putting leis on the guests. They have live entertainment at the bar - Hawaiian singers and traditional dancing and such on certain nights. If...

Aloha, Thank you for reviewing your stay. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your visit and were sure to share your kind remarks with the staff who perform on Mondays and Tuesdays at the pool as well as Regency Club Lounge. We are sorry you had difficulty in the parking garage. Smaller cars and valet are certainly good...

Just got back from a 7 night stay in Waikiki and had a fantastic time. It was a birthday celebration and I went with 3 friends (all Mums who left the hubby and kids behind). The hotel was in a really convenient location across the road from Waikiki Beach and a short walk to shops, restaurants etc. All of the...

MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT We booked this hotel through Hotel.com On the website, it clearly categorized different options: King bed OCEAN VIEW and King Bed Ocean View (PARTIAL). We booked a King Bed Ocean View. Yet, when we checked in, the front desk gave us a room with a PARTIAL VIEW. We went back to the front desk and asked to fix...

Aloha, We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the view or service you received. Per communications with our team prior to reading this Trip Advisor comment, we learned that while the category booked through a third party described the view of the ocean from the balcony, our team did try to provide some compensation which was the removal...

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon and were very happy with this resort. The rooms were very spacious, had comfortable beds and were clean. The pool is quite small, however is beautiful nonetheless. The breakfasts are amazing and they have great drink specials in the afternoon by the pool. The waitresses by the pool are also super-...

We've been staying here sincee the mid 80s and love this iconic hotel and the location. Right across Waikiki beach and Duke's statue, with splendid views over the ocean, Diamond Head to the east and Waikiki to the west. We stayed here for a week in early March and again had a wonderful time. The staff are all extremely friendly,...

We stayed here last week and had booked a Pure Room for the first time (hypo-allergenic). We were given room 2951, which was right behind the elevator. The elevator shaft noise sounded like planes flying over all night, so we upgraded to Pure Ocean/Partial Ocean View Room 1408 for $25 more a night the next day and it was great...

It was an average hotel for the price I paid (I think my room got downgraded when I changed to 2 beds instead of 1 at check in so I'm not too fussed by it). We had no ocean view and instead a balcony that faced the parking garage. The room was perfunctory—clean, comfortable, well supplied—but if you're looking for...

WARNING: We paid extra money for a full Ocean View Room at this hotel, but the Hyatt failed to provide what we paid for. Instead, they gave us a Partial Ocean View room, with only the tiniest sliver of water visible from the room itself. We felt cheated by this, and when we raised the matter with the Day Manager,...

Stayed there for 2 nights before going to the other Island. The location is very good. The parking is very expensive. had to pay 70$ for 2 days, but I think mostly all hotels parking price are the same 30-40$ a day. Aloha, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
