Awesome place. Cool Hawaiian vibes but also very modern. Staff are the most attentive I have ever met. Great location less than 10 minute walk to the beach and the shopping centres. Highly recommend this place and will be back in a heart beat!

I stayed here for ten days over Christmas. I was impressed with the clean modern rooms that have the feel of a beach house. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure my needs were met.

The hotel is small compared to most Honolulu hotels and it doesn't aspire to be a resort. I personally found it frustrating that one or two families could take over the entire pool during the day, making it impossible to swim without navigating small children or to have any quiet time by the pool. "Boutique hotels" are typically targeting couples, younger travelers and empty nesters, and not families with children. I'm not sure why people choose these types of hotels, which is not a genre that caters to their needs, and then they demand that it be something different. Honolulu has many many options that cater to kids.
I would suggest calling the hotel to ask. They are very helpful. It isn't ocean front or fancy, but it's a very fun place that has local charm. The renovations are beautiful so it's very comfortable and the rooms are larger... More
I would suggest calling the hotel to ask. They are very helpful. It isn't ocean front or fancy, but it's a very fun place that has local charm. The renovations are beautiful so it's very comfortable and the rooms are larger than most Waikiki hotels. Also, the restaurant is the best.
