We came to Hawaii to be married and honeymoon. The Surf Jack was the perfect place to stay. Everything was well kept and had great Hawaiian feel. Sai and staff were very friendly and sweet. They always greeted us, congratulated us on our wedding and even gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our special day. We can't wait...

Pros: 1) Friendly staff 2) Gorgeous design 3) Thoughtful layout and use of the space 4) Convenient location 5) Amazing hotel restaurant 6) Chic yet unpretentious 7) Unexpected "little" touches that added to the stay Cons: 1) Valet parking only--no self-parking. The pull-up to the valet area can get a little crowded and confusing at peak times, but the super...

This charming hotel has had a complete makeover and it really hits the spot. Our room had a separate living room with a large sofa and big screen TV. There were complementary snacks and a small refrigerator. There was another large screen TV in the bedroom and the huge walk in shower in the bathroom was wonderful. In the morning...

My girlfriend and I stayed in 3 places in Honolulu and this was easily our least favorite. The lobby is really cool and nothing about this place was terrible, but it just wasn't worth the $. Our airbnb was similar quality and similar location for barely more than half the $. There are so many cheap and decent airbnb's with...

Aloha Mr. Dean, Despite the critical review, we thank you for your feedback. I thank you also for saying that there is nothing terrible about the place. Lotus has great rooms but I do disagree that they are better than our rooms but then again I am partial to the Surfjack :) Although the Surfjack is not on the beach,...

I love this little gem of a place! It's a stylish and comfortable place to stay. Everyone who works there is friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. I really enjoy all the special touches in the room, most of the art, light fixtures, fabric and furniture are made by local artists. It's my favorite...

Did a quick island hop from Kauai to Oahu for the weekend. My room was ready upon a very early check-in (yay). The most comfortable bed ever with excellent linens. Clean and nicely decorated. Excellent restaurant on-site and super friendly, helpful staff. Valet could be a little more alert to getting guests taxis as requested. Great stay-cation for this Kauai...

From the moment we checked in to the time we left, we were blown away by the quality of the renovation here and the kindness of their staff. It's not as aggressively hip as, say, the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, though that was clearly an inspiration. But that's actually a good thing — this has more...

First, we’d like to comment on the amazing staff at Surfjack. Robbie is an extremely hardworking manager who knows how to take care of his guests. He always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to check on us as well as get us whatever we needed it whenever we needed it! He was very...

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by such friendly staff, Crystal (please forgive if misspelled) checked us in and was very welcoming and she continued to give us great spots to check out in Hawaii for food and beaches which did not disappoint, she was very knowledgeable about the local scene. The room was perfect, clean and...
