Went to the Tukwila office to pick up our $40 and our ‘free’ trip to Disneyland. Made the mistake of asking if they could turn done the SUPER LOUD music and ended up getting kicked out. Before we did, Michael brought us to an office and berated us for complaining about the music. He told us that we had been invited there and that we did not get to complain 😂 (Well, Michael, if you were a decent host, you would listen to your ‘guests’ when they are telling you they are uncomfortable and not freak out on them in the most unprofessional manner I’ve ever witnessed 🤷♀️). I told him that this was not for us and we started to leave. He jumped up and insisted that he was throwing us out 🤣 We’re still laughing about the whole thing! I said to my husband as we were leaving ‘at least we got our $40 back!’ To which Michael replied, ‘yeah, well you probably burned more than that on gas getting here!’ Am, no we didn’t Michael, we had been staying with friends just down the road 😁 Seriously, avoid these guys. Rude and unprofessional. So glad we save ourselves from having to attend the 90 minute presentation!!…
This resort is in the heart of the city, walking distance to Waikiki beach. The unit was comfortable enough and had all the basics. But, the zipper on the zippered mattress cover was broken and instead of changing the cover (which was stained and nasty to begin with) they left it and it kept sliding around under you so that you ended up sleeping on a zipper. The way the parking garage is situated is a bit of a hassel as you had to change elevators all the time to get to the separate one servicing the garage. Also, we found it very annoying that nothing was said on the listing that the swimming pool was closed for renovation, nor did they contact us to that fact. I think this place should have had a reduced trading power due to the fact that there was no pool!
Aweful company to rent a vacation rental , stayed six week over Christmas and New year at four Paddles room 1709 , Gabby and Rita were most unhelpful and we travelled from UK to Hawaii and could not even be bothered to locate keys to collect in Condo wanted us Seniors to walk of taxi 40 mins to collect from some dump run down unit . Issues with Room and Kelia Hopkins manager was the most rude, arrogant abs condescending individual yiu could meet not addressing our needs to supply hot water in bathroom unit for first six days abs tried to wriggle out of compensation which we then received minimal amount , the Washing machine did while duration no HOT water in covid times , simply not acceptable and would never recommend or use this unprofessional company again !!!!
I visited the Vacations International unit the week of 12/26/21. We stayed in a 1 bdrm unit with a gold out. The foldout is basically a cot and around our 5-6 night there my daughter started getting attached by bed bugs and we started to see roaches scurrying around. While it was centrally located, it’s not worth living in those conditions. Will be requesting a full refund. Totally ruined our trip.
Good location for walking, but heavy city traffic if driving in and out each day. Shabby front room, not relaxing. Below par bedspreads (w/ stains) and blankets, pilled. Cars parked on 6th floor only, a pain to go up and down at 5 mph every day. After telling front desk issues, they don't fix, but smile and say mahalo! Hawaii loves tourist money but doesn't like tourists, and I felt it here. They don't loan you beach chairs or umbrella. Pool, BB, Tennis all locked/closed. AND YOU MUST WEAR A MASK 24/7.
See title... totally tricked by RCI trading in here since Zero mention of pool under construction since fall of 2019. Umm, this is Dec 2021. The location is great, rooms small but updated, full kitchen with 1 bedroom unit, free parking (at least with RCI trade). No view (we had worst room, 802, by elevator) but comfy bed & great shower. Bus stop in front on Kuhio. Full fridge, we used coffee maker & microwave only but unit is stocked by with pots, pans, toaster, full stove/oven, full fridge, blender, dishwasher, etc. Wifi good. TVs didn't work at first, quick call to maintenance & it took 2 guys & 20 min but got it working (2 TV's). Not sure I'd stay here again with no pool but the location is excellent. Hit nearby Legends for the best Mai Tais in Waikiki.
I would not stay at this place again. The parking is easy, however you have to park on the six floor take an elevator down to the first floor walk around the lobby, then take an elevator up to your floor (ours was the ninth). Our first night there we were awakened by the fire alarm going off and telling us to evacuate and not use the elevators. There are over 30 floors in this building. As we were getting dressed we were trying to imagine walking down the stairs with 30 floors worth of people trying to evacuate a fire. We decided that we would exit at the six floor and walk down through the garage instead of being in the press of people. After we were dressed they gave us the all clear sign and told us that somebody had pulled the fire alarm by accident in the lobby. No problem things happen. The next night the same thing happened! However they gave us the all clear much faster. I went to the VI office to ask them what happened and was told “we don’t know that’s a security problem ask them”. OK I will never stay here again I will never return ~. The idea that my timeshare just doesn’t care about what’s going on in the building is a little bit to much and the idea of trying to evacuate with all those people it’s just too much the stairways are not large enough to handle that amount of people.…
We were in a corner suite (#912). We had a lanai looking out over Kuhio Avenue. Our unit had a shower (no tub) and a full kitchen. Our unit also had free WiFi. Since we were on the 9th floor, we weren't high enough to see the ocean over the other buildings.
The beds were comfortable. The full size kitchen was an added plus during our stay. GPS was wrong, taking us to a seedy area. In a very popular area of Waikiki so the outside was loud until about 10 each night. We were lucky to be high enough to see the ocean from our balcony. Lifetime does not list the name of the building. Late night check in, through security, was not listed as an option. The window unit was loud and very distracting.
Exceeded my expectations. Exterior and lobby appearance very dated, but the room was clean, comfortable, and functional. Also had free parking which is huge in Waikiki! Location was also great…restaurants close by and 5 min walk to beach!
