We enjoyed our stay here as we were walking distance from most anything we wanted to do. We were close to food, beaches, shopping and the Zoo. This is an older property and it reflects it with dated rooms, however they were clean and the maids were very efficient. It was disap

Booked this hotel 2 times. We forgot to cancel one of our bookings...while I understand this was my error, I had hoped Marriott would be at least a little helpful. We were charged the full nights stay. The customer service was terrible. Not what I expect from Marriott...they have

First time to Waikiki and Marriott system had me booked for two rooms. Only booked one room on the their website and only confirmed for one room. The second room seemed to be an anomaly since I didn't have the cancellation number for said reservation. Either way, Kenneth, Rinston

Despite the SPG points merger disaster, still fans of Marriott. Front desk service is solid. Rooms are a bit dated but OK. F&B service is a disaster! Lots of attitude. Lots of “no’s” to very simple requests. Not up to Marriott standards. We are not high maintenence guests. Heard

It is with comments like yours that help us identify areas where we can better improve and know what our guests are saying about us. We do take great pride in our products and more importantly, our services and I sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations nor our own expectations. The matters that you mentioned with our F&B service will be brought to the attention to the management team and will be address accordingly. As for our guest room, we will be undergoing a remodeling project starting January 2019 and all our guest rooms will have a refreshed and new design and feel to them. Again, thank you for your feedback and should your travels bring you back to Waikiki, I do hope that you will visit us again so that we can provide you with that experience that many of our Marriott guests have grown to love over the years. Mahalo.

My second stay here while in Waikiki on business. The hotel is enormous. The rooms are nice and the balconies are spacious. The service at the hotel is generally very good, rooms are clean and staff is friendly. The restaurants are a bit shaky though and pricey, but then agai

Is this hotel family friendly? I’m deciding between this and Sheraton and not sure which one is better location wise and baby friendly! Thanks heaps.
The beach is just across the road from the Marriott, so if you didn't want to use the pool, you have the beach.

Yes this Hotel is family friendly. They have 2 pools, a great staff to assist you in any way. I have stayed at the Sheraton before and was not as nice as the Marriott. Hope this helps.

Do the rooms have ESPN+. I am travelling from Australia in November and would like to watch the Horn-Mindine fight.
No . You will have to go to a sports bar to watch and there is lots around Waikiki.

Recommendations for local restaurants.....
The JW restaurant in the Marriott hotel/Resorts for dinner, and breakfast in the 1st floor restaurant. For local eating out, I go to Zippy's, their ox tail soup is great, if you like soup, fry chicken and their malasada is the best. Mahalo n Aloha, Tofa Soifua.
