We haven’t been here even 24 hours yet and we are in heaven! Everyone we’ve interacted with here has been fabulous! Our room although dated is clean with a comfortable bed and amazing views! Convenient access to the ABC store (that has everything you’d need in a pinch) and just across from the beach. We are. Wry happy!
The Park Shore Hotel is an excellent place to stay. We had a room with an ocean view and it was spectacular. The location is fantastic - directly across from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We made daily use of the beach chairs, surf boards etc available through the hotel. It is at the Zoo end away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip but within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.
The only nice thing about this hotel is the proximity to the beach but it is on a noisy corner in Waikiki, rust was all over the bathroom, and is overall outdated. The valet parking is $48 per day and one day it took nearly 10 minutes to get our car. Some of the staff were pleasant and others were rude. Also, they charged us resort fees we were unaware of before we got there. They said we didn’t know about them because we booked through Expedia and told us to reach out to them. Also Waikiki in general wants to make it harder on tourists to enjoy themselves - we got a court summons citation for having a beer on the beach.
It's my first visit to Hawaii. When I was looking for hotels I chose Park Shore Waikiki Beach hotel because I checked reviews for all the hotels on Waikiki beach and Park Shore hotel had good reviews mostly because of its location. When I arrived the view from the room was good and it's not the cheapest room that I got almost $300.00 for one night. Around 3 AM the music was so loud outside that I woke up because of that and my room was on the 11th floor. The most terrible thing for me happened when I woke up in the morning. I saw a COCKROACH in the bathroom that was really gross and disgusting for me. Even many cheap motels don't have cockroaches in the rooms but it's a 3 - star hotel. Now I terrified to leave any food in the room because if there is one cockroach then it's more than one. Also the room smells bad. I've already paid for 7 nights and don't know what to do.…
The diamond head/side beach view is perfect. The service from the lobby/customer service is perfect, timely and kind. I would recommend the higher floors as the pool can be loud with kids. The balcony view is immaculate
A great choice for a hotel to stay - reasonably priced (verses other Waikiki properties) and across the street from the beach - which has a lovely swimming area (and as a swimmer this was handy for a early morning dip before the crowds arrive). Staff where very friendly and arranged for early and late check outs. Large rooms and mine had a great view of the ocean. also its at the quiet end of Waikiki near parks a walking trail around the coast.
Great hotel, clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the ocean and pool area. Quiet area literally across the street from the beach! Room a little small but didn’t spend much time in the room. Coffee on the lanai each morning and drinks in the evening. Easy walk to many restaurants and shopping. Will certainly return.
This is the second time I have stayed here. It is at the end of the main strip of hotels which was perfect for me as it was quiet. The facilities were good, rooms clean as was the pool. It is right across from the beach and next door to the Honolulu Zoo. There is a view of the beach on one side and the mountains on the other.
We spent 9 days in Waikiki at Park Shore and it was perfect! The lobby is great and spacious. Free and fresh ground Hawaiian coffee every morn. Spent many mornings with a fresh cup and taking in the beach views. The location is the best! Directly across from the beach and the chair rentals included was a plus. I rented a car for a few days but was able to park for free overnight on Monserrat Ave close to the hotel. Staff was super friendly and the ABC Store connected directly to the lobby was ideal! Would not hesitate to book again!
I stayed for 2 weeks at this hotel and they gave me the crappiest room in the hotel in spite of my being on Oahu for business and I later found out that they have rented many floors of their hotel to college students which explains all the slamming doors throughout the night and yelling, etc. Also, if the hotel is going to cutback on Daily Maid Service then the hotel needs to adjust their per night room pricing downward because at $200 a night I expect daily maid service with a room that allows proper sleep from super noisy guests. One bright note is the Park Shore Staff is very attentive and kind and the Valet guys are the best although it's $45 bucks a day to park a car there so again very pricey--they charge for everything at this hotel. The location is great and is very convenient with the beach across the street.…
