My spouse and I have visited this resort 10-12 times during the past 22 years. On three occasions our siblings and spouses accompanied us. But, this visit was a "bummer". The daily construction times (10 hours daily, excluding weekends) at the Hilton hotel next door generated extremely high noise levels throughout the Hale Koa hotel. Guest residing in rooms overlooking...

Although you can't go too wrong staying anywhere on Waikiki beach, this place is an excellent value for the money provided you are associated with the armed forces. The resort sits on prime real estate directly on Waikiki beach. Very family friendly. I went with 2 small children for a week and honestly would have never had to leave the...

Check in went smooth and quick. We asked lots of questions at check in and all were answered. We had an ocean view in room 1313. It was a good view of the ocean. I wasn't overly impressed with any of the food on location. The prime rib buffet was very average or maybe below average. The employees that we...

Located in Waikiki beach, this is a phenomenal resort. You'll need to have a military ID or be an employee of the Department of Defense (civilian - no contractors). The main restaurant features all you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Sunday's they also have an amazing Brunch ($30/person but worth all of it).

I've been coming over here for the past 7 years but doubt I will return again. The rooms are in disrepair and the restaurants have changed so drastically I only ate here twice. The Warrior Lounge leaves a great deal to be desired and children are now being allowed in the lounge. It appears the general public are using facilities...

Prime location on Waikiki next to the Hilton Hawaiian. Get a ocean view and enjoy coffee on your balcony! We had a partial view with the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other! Super clean! Comfortable bed, mini refrigerator. Wolfgang Puck coffee in room with one cup coffee maker using small coffee pods. Safe in room. Bring...

My wife and I had a awesome time at the Hale Koa. We had an ocean view room in the Ilima tower on the 10th floor. The Ilima tower is the tower closes to the beach and the Hilton next door. The room was clean and the staff we encounter we friendly and helpful. The grounds of the Hale Koa...

Always wanted to go to Hawaii, but never thought I'd get the opportunity. My wife and I have visited Santa Barbara in a number of occasions now to see our daughter and two young grandchildren. She married a U.S. Air Force guy a few years back and has been living over there for 3 or 4 years now. This is...

I recently stayed at the Hale Koa as part of a multigenrational family vacation. It had been approximately 19 years since we had stayed at this hotel. This time we booked a Garden View room, an Ocean View Room and a Deluxe Ocean Front room. All the rooms were clean & spacious, although the furnishings looked tired. The customer service...

From check in to check out we have no complaints. Everyone was always very helpful and pleasant. I have always been early to rise and find it great to be able to get an early breakfast at Happy's, or cup of coffee. Planning a trip for next year.
