This place cater to veterans and family. It's awesome place to stay.i would go again in the future. It close to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet. The price is very affordable. The restaurant in the hotel is awesome. Plenty of activities.

Don't be fooled by Military association or other notions. Top notch facility on widest part of Waikiki and next to beautiful green parks. If you are qualified to stay it is worth to do so rather than touristy spots nextdoor.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff was great, we enjoyed the different food options and loved the pool area. Rooms were nice and worked out well, wonderful views from the balconies. Great fun to watch fireworks on Fridays and enjoyed the craft sales in the open air lobby.

Awesome prices and rest & relaxation hotel for members of the armed forces. Pay by rank, no tax great fun centralized location. Beach bar is a blast. Need to book in advance due to high demand, almost a year out.

We just spent 2weeks here, 8 years after our first visit. Back then our room was very tired. This time it was better, completely clean and funtional, though rather basic. Our room was ocean view,10 th floor about half way between the ocean and the road in the Maile building. I would call it partial view. Unless we were on the...

Are you kidding me! What's not to like about the Hale' Koa!! Affordable excellence! We were only there Jan 24 & 25,2017, then on to Kauai. Trust me when I say it's not enough time. The grounds & facilities were awesome! Many things to do there and walking distance things too. We had ocean front rooms. Wow! 9th floor has...

The Hale Koa as many know id limited to military and their guests. But if your retired military and staying next door at the Hilton Hawaii Village, don't miss the opportunity to stop next door for a meal, drink or even sit for a cocktail as you listen to live music or watch the sun set.....at a greatly reduced price....

The first time I arrived at the Hale Koa was 38 years ago when I was an active-duty E-5, and I remember thinking how amazing it was that the federal government had anything to do with this place. It was (and still is) an absolutely top-flight resort which rivals the best Hawaii has to offer, at a price that service...

Outstanding location, easy walk to many places and bus stops just across the street for the further sites. Pool and beach only steps away. Lovely grounds, set in a park like setting in the middle of town. Good sized rooms with nice amenities. If eligible, the prices beat other hotels in the area for similar rooms. Food good and reasonably...
