Did not stay there but as a retired veteran used the facilities like the Barefoot Bar, Exchange, and restaurants. We were visiting during Christmas and spent lots of time there as the staff at all locations and venues were so friendly and helpful. To stay there, you need to make reservations way in advance. They have so many services from beach amenities, Luhuas,...

My sister, granddaughter and I stayed at Hale Koa over Thanksgiving. My grandson's high school marching band was in the Waikiki Holiday Parade. We had a great time. Grandson and HS band stayed next door at the Hilton, which I found to be a concrete jungle. Fort DeRussy is absolutely beautiful and the grounds were so fresh and peaceful. The...

We completely enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful hotel. We made reservations in April for our early November vacation. The reservation staffed helped us several times to upgrade our room until we were able to secure an ocean front room in the shorter of the two towers. The view from the 8th floor was amazing - sunset views were spectacular....

Our stay at Hale Koa was amazing! We stayed for 10 days prior to taking the NCL cruise around the islands and then we returned for another week afterward. Our Deluxe Ocean View room on the 10th floor had a huge glass wall that faced out to Waikiki Beach and also a patio door that led to a balcony with...

My family visited the Hale Koa over Easter this year. As a military family, we stay in some pretty basic hotels on and off military bases... nothing too special but can't beat the price. The Hale Koa was different, it was a beautiful hotel full of amenities, great restaurants and bars, awesome Luau and gorgeous grounds! I couldn't believe how...

We booked four rooms over the Christmas holidays. The service was impeccable. Staff around this large facility learned and remembered our names. They were always ready to help and make recommendations.Outstanding dining options and great food. Excellent location. We walked out the back of the hotel right onto the beautiful white sand beach. It's a short walk to Waikiki beach from...

BLUF you'll save a few hundred dollars staying here vs staying out in the economy. You're experience won't be 100% fancy resort like, but honestly you can just walk down the beach a quarter mile to the Hilton and hang out there if you must. At least the Hale Koa isn't a money pit that tries to suck you dry...

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon; what a fantastic hotel! The property is large and kept very clean. Our room was a little bit dated but everything looked well kept and the bed was comfortable. Honestly all we did in the room was sleep and eat some meals, as we were busy exploring Oahu. But...

The Hotel towers a probably 3 star facilities but everything else is great to stunning. My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks in 8 dec. to 22 dec. 2 weeks gave us the time to see what we wanted at a civilized pace and to work around the weather that turned out to be really nice. We also stayed...

My husband, I and our 4.5 year old stayed here for 8 days in December. The hotel is large with many restaurant options and right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Parking is across the street and $8/day. The rooms are dated but very clean with a small fridge. There are no microwaves in the room but every floor has...
