Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort where the beach comes alive.
My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and the resort itself was really nice. However, directly across the street there is a restaurant, ShoreFyre that has a band every night and they are EXTREMELY loud. It's like a rock concert every night. It made it a little rough on those nights where we really needed to rest from a hard day of play.
The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort is in a great location. Most importantly they still are top notch in the needs of the guest. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable staff is awesome! I'm in the travel industry and have stayed at many hotels this is one of my favorites!!! Thank you Outrigger for a great vacation. We will be back MO from Gresham, Oregon
This was the second time we stayed at this particular Outrigger Resort, and both times, we were NOT disappointed. Location, room cleanliness (esp during Covid), value, beach location, in-hotel restaurants are just a sample of high marks we would rate this resort hotel. The Hotel even has Valet Parking, but it can get pricey. But, so is everything else in Waikiki during Covid times. The beach in front of the hotel is so kid friendly, (even though we do not have little kids), as the water is somewhat shallow for quite a long way from the shore. Even though pricey, we rented beach umbrellas and beach chairs for the duration of our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, and no complaints here. We paid a bit extra for an Ocean View, but we should have paid a bit more for Ocean Front. Location -- within walking distance to many "mid-priced" restaurants. Ammenities - hotel does have a gym, and it met my needs. In-Hotel Restaurants -- can't beat Dukes and the Hula Grill (both offered breakfast, with Dukes offering a Buffet style option). We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.…
The room was super clean and it was so easy to access the beach. They only have valet parking, but it ended up being very convenient as we could just drop off our car after a long day and be in our room within a minute or two. Our two girls swam at the beach at night time-there were two lights on top of the hotel building which nicely illuminated the water, The only thing that nearly deducted one star was that there were no water filling stations. The hotel provided two plastic bottles in the room, but with Hawaii being overloaded with plastic waste, there should be filtered water stations provided (as I had seen at other hotels).
You read this a lot on reviews that not a person to normally submit a review. However, I did read reviews on this hotel before booking. So I felt compelled to submit to help others make their decision. I am a real person and tourist that recently stayed at Outrigger Waikiki Beach over 2021 Labor Day weekend for first time. It is a great hotel with excellent location and amenities. During this time of COVID all staff wore masks and hotel was clean. The value of this hotel was super in relation to location on Waikiki and compared to other nearby hotels.
