The view from this B&B is fantastic! Don & Phyllis are great hosts, very friendly. They are more than accommodating, going out of their way to make us comfortable. They have many local maps and know what is going on in the area. I am trying to live gluten free and in addition to gluten free bread and cereal Phyllis...

Cindy & Dave were delightful guests. We look forward to their return visit. We are getting more and more people who are gluten intolerant so it is rewarding that I am learning how to accommodate them. For Cindy, I made my muesli with gluten-free oatmeal and used goat milk instead of cow's milk and she--and her body--loved it!

I keep looking for a word other than wonderful to describe my stay with Don and Phyllis in Hawaii Kai. From service to dining to cleanliness. Don and Phyllis' experience, generosity and warmth set up the rest of my experience of the island flow. Their hilltop view of the bay was ever-present and uplifting; as much a part of my...

Paul was a delight to have as our guest. He could not get over how kind everyone was and was blown away with our island "aloha spirit." He started each day by swimming in our pool. Don and I enjoyed our daily chats with him, a fellow Bostonian. We look forward to his return stay with us. Phyllis

Our hosts Phyllis and Don certainly made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home. Their quiet neighborhood is close to some great restaurants and has beautiful views from the lanai. We began our vacation staying in a B&B, so that we could get some ideas about the islands from folks who live and experience this beautiful paradise everyday and...

If you plan to rent a car for your visit to Oahu, the Aloha B&B will be good fit. The drive from Honolulu airport is about 30 min to the east. The friendly host and hostess, Don and Phyllis Young, have three guest rooms in their beautiful hillside home with great views of the marina, Koko Head, Koko Crater, and...

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying with Phyllis and Don. Booking two separate rooms in Hawaii can be very expensive and we received such wonderful service and value for the rooms with them. They were incredibly accommodating and had a wonderful array of goodies to eat for breakfast, and Phyllis made sure there was more than enough...

I enjoyed my five nights at Aloha B&B this past week and would definitely stay there again. It's a well-kept split-level home in a quiet suburban neighborhood of similar houses overlooking Hawaii Kai. Has a fabulous view over the bay and a real nice salt water swimming pool. The hosts provided an excellent wholesome breakfast every morning, with fresh tropical...

We were very happy with our decision to stay at Aloha Bed and Breakfast. We most definitely will return given the opportunity. Don and Phyllis' home is open and pleasant with great views and plenty of light. The bedrooms each have great beds, windows, closets, and the huge library of books and travel helps is right outside the rooms. We...

Upon entering Aloha's Bed and Breakfast, we found Don, the owner, was trying to crush hundreds of ants in the kitchen. He explained that there were a lot of ants in Hawaii. Being on vacation we thought okay, we will see how is goes. Then, Don took us downstairs and showed us a lot of ants that were in the...

We apologize that your time with us was when we had an epidemic of ants. I am chemically sensitive so we do not use chemicals in our home. In April of 2014, we had a treatment done on our property for ground termites which is non-toxic and has no odor. We were told that the chemical that was used will...

I stayed here for a week in May 2012. Phyllis and Don could not have been nicer .... kind of like staying with relatives. Phyllis made sure there was plenty of fresh pineapple (favorite) every morning along with a very nice and healthy choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. They definitely saved me money with suggestions of restaurants and attractions....
