Beautiful resort!. Hotel and grounds wonderful. Views of beach and ocean stunning. Staff AMAZING. Three great restaurant options with variety of menus. Loved the outdoor/open air options. Lobby open and airy. Rooms were well equipped. Valet and housekeeping especially attentive. Close to hiking and Waikiki.

Perfect pick for a first trip to Hawaii as a couple. Not only was customer service top notch and accommodating, but our room was especially clean upon arrival and came with a gorgeous lanai view. Not many hotels are on top of things like the Kahala. This place makes you feel special and the service was superb. It’s a quiet place compared to the hustle and bustle of other Waikiki hotels and the staff really makes you feel special by ensuring you are completely comfortable. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s totally worth the price for the amazing service provided and the beautiful memories that you will make. My boyfriend and I chose the Kahala upon our first time ever traveling to Hawaii and we are so glad we did! Everyone is so nice and the valet staff are so sweet. I’ve never met so many lovely people before like they have at the Kahala. It’s well worth the experience and we are already planning another trip again with the Kahala being on our top go to’s for places to stay. We enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I stayed at the Kahala in late Sept/early October for a babymoon and chose it initially for it's location (close to Diamond Head, close to Waikiki and yet still would provide a resort feel and private-ish beach) and price. We were so pleased with both! We were grateful to be staying away from the bustle (and homelessness) we experienced in Waikiki. However, the think we couldn't stop talking about was how helpful and friendly the staff was! Night and day from some experiences we've had in other resorts/locations. The concierge Nozomi was helpful with making some arrangements before we arrived, the valet stand was great about reserving us early-morning taxis, the front desk actually let us view three different rooms and choose our preference (closer to the beach v. better view) when we arrived. The staff just went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the towers, floor seven, in an ocean-view room w/ Juliet balcony. Stunning view!

After much research for our first family trip to Oahu, we decided on Kahala. We absolutely could not have chosen better! The location was far enough from the chaos of Waikiki but close enough to everything we wanted to see. The amenities were perfect for us - the pool, walk up beach access, incredible dining, and who WOULDN’T want to walk out the door and see dolphins?! The staff was amazing - nice, attentive, and memorable. We especially loved our concierge, Nozomi, who literally helped us plan everything before we arrived and answered 100 questions professionally and promptly. Dinner at Arancino. Brunch at Hoku’s. Stellar food for adults with kid friendly options. An amazing experience all around.
