If you are looking for the perfect bed and breakfast to stay on while in Newport... This is the place! We stayed in the Burgundy Suite. Spacious, lovely, and spotless. Breakfast in the dining room was elegant and delicious ... What a delightful way to spend the weekend. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!

Lovely place, just a few steps from downtown Newport and pretty good value (it was off season when I visited - I'm sure prices and the buzz go up earlier in the year!). I had a good room, booked through Expedia, which included a balcony with even managed a slither of a sea view. Sadly I was only able to...

Wonderful, hospitable, comfortable, enjoyable, friendly!! I am sure I could find more terms to describe this excellent bed and breakfast in Newport. We will definitely return, probably with a group of friends and family. The location is perfect; just off the main road so it is quiet, but easily close enough to walk into town. We were met by the...

We were in our second week of travelling around the NE States and it was a very nice feeling to arrive at the Almondy Inn late in the afternoon and sense immediately that we had made a fantastic choice. The glass of wine helped of course, coupled with a very pleasant chat with fellow residents. This is such a nice...

This is a beautiful, well furnished B&B within easy walking distance of the waterfront and all it's boats, shops and restaurants. Our room was ideal as was the breakfast service and the very welcome...

We like this B & B. Our room was a bit tight but very comfortable bed and linens. The breakfast is very well done. We enjoyed the wine and cheese reception in the evening. The location is terrific. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops.

The Almondy Inn is a perfect B&B to stay in when visiting Newport, The Inn itself it decorated beautifully, our hosts were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious. The Inn is located just a minutes walk from the main thoroughfare. There is some late-night noise that can be heard but it is not too bad. The Burgundy Suite is...

We only had one day and a night in Newport and Eveline made it very worthwhile. Showed us what to do, recommended great restaurants, and was most helpful. Sy het ook a bietjie Afrikaans met ons gepraat, us coming from South Africa! Can recommend it to anyone!

Thank Neil G
