My husband book last minute so availability was limited. I'm unsure which house we stayed in because the inn keeper manages 3 different homes on Clarke St. Ours was the yellow home on the same side as the managers. Upon arrival he said he was upgrading us (unsure if that was true since I didn't do booking and it was... More

Like going back a 100 years in every way. Windows do not open so room really hot. Nice 4 poster bed but no coffee or tea. Carpet dirty. Nice well meaning family. Breakfast slow. Rather Heath Robinson decor. $190 per night not justified . Short walk to waterfront with fantastic choice of curiosity shops and restauaunts.

The Admiral Farragut is quite possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room greeted us with a scent that can only be described as a "nursing home" smell. The room needed to be painted (we could see the marks on the wall from a painting that had previously hung there), there was peeling paint on the ceiling, furnishings... More

Inn is in an excellent location near waterfront and historic districts. Parking lot is right in front of inn but for some reason we were told to park on the street instead and given a street permit to display, even though many cars in lot were larger than ours and there were open spaces. Room was very spacious with historic... More

I've been to Newport numerous times and love it! This trip was primarily business and the location was ideal for where I needed to be! Central location that is pretty much close to everything you require. The staff was very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble for them. They really bend over backward for their guests. Breakfast in the... More

The owners have 3 buildings right next to each other. They are very accommodating and helpful. They serve a nice breakfast, help you with details and know the city well so they can advise. The buildings are approx 159 years old but quaint. They have air conditioners and small tv in each but truthfully, if you are spending a lot... More

The Inn was set on a quiet side street with a short (minutes) walk to town and to restaurants/activities. The breakfast, with a menu of options, was a real plus. Room #6 was very spacious and private (we were given a choice upon arrival, which was great). There was a family with a small child above us which made our... More

Hospitality was amazing! But first, I need to confirm the room, in this lovely B&B, was wonderfully vintage, certainly spacious, very classy, and absolutely convenient. Included in our king room was a small wall-mounted TV, ample outlets, A/C, and critical free WiFi. Although desired was a small room refrigerator ... we made due with a central one and ice from... The location could not be beat! In the most charming historical district (with parking) and only a couple of blocks to shopping and the harbor. The owner and his son were very attentive, ensuring we had what we needed for our room as well as for dinner recommendations and running routes. We had a one night stay and spent much... More
