A very nice hotel and well-appointed. The room was very good. Starbucks on site is great. Overall a good value compared to other local hotels. However, the hotel desk staff was so surly and condescending I cannot recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Hyatt while attending a wedding. It's well located and the service personnel are both helpful and friendly. With that said, however, whoever did the decor for the hallways and rooms desperately needed help. Both are quite depressing, badly in need of...More
Had an incredible massage with Amanda at Spa Alexis. Was able to book online easily. Amanda was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Not rushed and felt so much better after. She asked what my problem areas were and listened. Will definitely come back.

Behind the Hyatt you can take the train that can take you to some great restaurants. Using the train will allow you get down by canal side. From there you can walk to 716, Pearl street Grill, Pizza Plant, Liberty Hound. Near you is Dinosaur BBQ, soho and Deep South Taco. Buffalo does not have Uber so the free train is really convenient. Any one at the hotel should be able to help as well.
