The hotel, the town and the park are all hidden treasures. So glad to have discovered them all as we finally visited our 50th state. The walk-in shower was a plus. Great makeover. One day my husband and I would like to go back to visit longer

This is a great place to stay when visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Hotel has a lot of charm, especially the lobby with library and fireplace. Complimentary breakfast is adequate. Dinner at the TR dining room was very good- service was excellent. Town of Medora very nice as well.

WOW... If you travel to North Dakota, don't miss the opportunity to stay at the Rough Riders Hotel. A real western town and this hotel is so unique. Looks like the wild west with all the amenities of current day. We were there the first week in October and the local show had just closed for the season. Would definitely...

This hotel was very nice with large rooms, comfortable beds and an extra large shower. The lobby is beautifully decorated with a lending library and large fireplace. Unfortunately, we visited in the off season so Theodore's Restaurant was not available, however, the breakfast that was provided was one of the best we had on our trip and included two types...

What a nice surprise when we checked in to this hotel. The town is pretty much dead and we were worried we were the only ones around. The property is first class from the beautiful lobby to the rooms. I love that went we opened the door to our room you could smell the housekeepers have been there. The room...

After spending most of the trip in chain hotels, it was a welcome pleasure to stay at the Rough Riders Hotel. The town of Medora is very small and atmospheric and the hotel is the high point of the town. It was a high-end hotel with a chain hotel price. I was here during the off-season, so I expect that...

Decided to stay here on a whim. So glad I did. This place is well worth the extra couple of bucks. Have stayed in many "chain" hotels and kind of sick of the same old things. This hotel is such a nice treat. I came to Medora after the "season" because I wanted to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It...

After staying in small town motels, this is a welcome change. Very comfy beds, great shower and 2 comfy reading chairs to sit in while editing your pictures for the day is a welcome change. Go in the "winter " for a cheaper rate and cooler temperatures,

There is nothing "Rough" about the Rough Riders Hotel. The hotel has been extensively renovated in the last 8 years. Rooms are large, well-appointed, with beautiful bathrooms. The restaurant is a tad expensive, but good food and ample portions. Great location in tiny (pop 112) Medora, right next to the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt Natl Park. We thought the...
