The eagle ridge lodge was quite an experience.....lovely hosts, fantastic homemade dinners...the property sits on a cliff overlooking the North Dakota badlands....close to Theodore Roosevelt national park....the hosts use their garden to prepare fresh foods which is such a treat after many miles on the road.....would not hesitate to visit again!

I selected this lodge based on the fact that I didn't want to stay "in town" at a cookie cutter hotel. Eagle Ridge Lodge was just perfect. It was charming, warm, cozy, and the view can't be beat. Paul and Joann are wonderful hosts and amazing cooks. Your stay includes breakfast and dinner, and every meal was delicious. Most of...

Stay on a ranch only15 minutes from Medora. Your hosts Paul and Joanne are former ranchers who opened up this 5 room lodge, offering fresh, home cooked breakfast and dinner, included in the price. Fresh produce from the garden are featured in the plentiful, scrumptious meals which are served at 8 am and 6 pm. This allows for hiking before...

Wonder experience with great food and fellowship. Plenty of outdoor vistas with wonderful views of the Badlands. Enjoyed walking in the early morning and photographing the inspiring sunrise. Auggie, the resident dog always was a fun companion.

What a great find! This beautiful home/lodge gets you away from the tourists and puts you in the heart of the rugged beauty of the Badlands. A real treat awaits when you arrive, approximately 7 miles out with about 4 miles of that being (well maintained) dirt road. The serenity and accommodations is worth every bit of it. Food was...

This outstanding, comfortable ranch house residence is a perfect escape from the tawdry, touristy Medora only 6 miles away. Paul & JoAnn make your visit memorable by supplying hearty breakfasts and dinners in the high ceiling dining area affording one of the area's finest views. The value is excellent considering the accommodations & meals. The grasslands here are thinly populated...

What a wonderful way to appreciate the Badlands! Paul and JoAnn's home, perched on the edge of the ridge, offers warm hospitality and incredible views of the countryside. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The lodge has fireplaces in just about every room so we never were without a cozy place to relax. And, in the morning it was just...

We loved our recent stay at the Eagle Ridge Lodge! Paul and Joann were very friendly and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were incredible! There was so much food we couldn't eat it all. We felt that the price was great especially since it included 2 full meals. Don't count on your GPS finding this place, you will need to...

If you wish to listen to silence, glory in full sky sunsets, be pampered by friendly hosts, eat locally grown, deliciously prepared breakfasts and dinners, choose Eagle Ridge Lodge. Joann's lovely quilts and Paul's incredibly crafted staircase and railings add to the beauty of looking out on the ND badlands from a point once cherished by Native Americans. The "home"...

We spent a night here with friends after finding it online. We found out after booking (which was last minute) that they didn't provide dinner on Sunday nights. We asked if we could pick up some food to bbq but were told that we would have to bring our own grill. We then decided to eat in town which turned...
