We have stayed at many KOA's and this one is one that was a bit of a disappointment. It is looking a bit tired and in need of a face lift. The tent camping areas seemed congested with not much room between tent sites. On the plus side they also have a few cabins, plenty of RV sites and a...

Decent campground. We've stayed here twice in the past four years: once in the teepee and once in our own tent. These are mixed sites if you want electric with tents being assigned to the same type sites as campers/RVs, so there is a gravel base. They are quite close together though so noisy neighbors can easily be an issue....

Me and my two 12 year old daughters had a great time in our 5 days, 4 nights there! Our site, 181, came with a patio which was great for eating, reading, and relaxing. Nice shade and a Poke Stop and gym so the girls could hunt Pokémon to their hearts content! Our sit was full hookups and pull through....

We stopped here on our way back from our 4 week trip so we'd have a short drive home to Phoenix the next day. Funny little place! Looks like they're doing improvements to parts. RVs were placed at odd angles to each other maximizing availability and yet it worked! Although if you have a long RV, careful where you park....

We went on a road trip from Minneapolis, MN to Grand Canyon and stayed on KOAs every night (totaling eight KOAs). This KOA did not make it on the list of my favorites. As other reviewers have said before, it does need a facelift and a little bit more TLC. This was the only KOA on which the ground wasn't...

This is my first time staying in a KOA campsite and I must say I was a little disappointed. The facility is really in need of a face lift. The trees are beautiful but over power the rv park. They have a nice play area for young kids and wonderful welcoming staff. This rv park has great potential just in...

As we pulled in we were greeted with friendly enough staff. As you pass the Sanford and son section we were taken to the 2 spots we rented. We paid $49 a night to park our small airstreams, only to find our sites only had electricity. We also soon discovered that our site was a major traffic artery for a...

This campground has a wonderful setting amid the abundant pines of Northern Arizona. It's always refreshing here with lots of shade, a great store and staff and nice sites. Only problem we've ever had is that more than once, they would place us in a site that was too small for our rig and RV and it would take multiple...

We have stayed at this KOA multiple times over the years. PROS: Right outside Flagstaff on Route 89A on the way to Grand Canyon South Rim via Cameron, AZ. 10 minutes from I40. All facilities are close as Flagstaff is a sizable town with full business choices and a number of attractions nearby. Be sure to visit Walnut Canyon, Sunset...

Loads of trees at this spot. Campsites were not very level - we had trouble getting our motorhome to level up due to this but area is Nicely kept,. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Campground was full but you'd never know it at night, it was quiet. Centrally located to site see Flagstaff and old route 66.
