First the directions provided by Christa were spot on. Trying to get there in the dark and rain without special instructions, not gonna happen. They were spot on. The cottage and rooms were just as described. The view and food was awesome. We stayed in The Princess on the Pea. It was a nice suite with direct outdoor access to...

This place is awesome and Christa is amazing. We have been here several times and it does not matter the season. It's always beautiful. Be sure to bring a camera with you. The views are incredible inside and out.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed, (3 nights), at the beautiful Once Upon a Mountain B & B in Luray, Virginia. I must say we were taken back by the beauty of this fine Inn. The property is as advertised, situated atop a mountain on 11 acres of tranquility. Our host and Inn owner, Christa, was extremely gracious and very...

The Hospitality, visiting, and scenery were all great....The food was very good and unique to a typical breakfast...... The opportunity to walk in the mountainous field and see wildlife was also fun. I would recommend this establishment to others.

A outstanding B & B situated off the beaten path. You won't be disappointed - beautiful setting, great accommodations, imaginative breakfasts and an outstanding hostess. Christa willingly shares her extensive knowledge of the region. She's hiked many of the trails and offers suggestions that are spot-on! She makes you feel at home in her home without being overbearing.

Our first time at a B&B and I would highly recommend this one! Very comfortable and great attention to detail! Beautiful mountain views and very peaceful. The hostess was a great conversationalist and people person. We WILL be going back and would not stay anywhere else!

This was a great get away for our honeymoon. We both love the mountains, and the view from the Queen's Suite was beautiful. Breakfast was full of good food and good company each morning. We explored the surrounding area during the day hiking, horseback riding, viewing skyline drive, and enjoying the quaint but lively town of Luray.

My husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay here! Christa is a fantastic hostess. The place is gorgeous and so is the view. We stayed in the Queen room and were charmed by the half moon window over the other two windows facing us from the bed. We also loved the bathtub big enough for two! It was great...

The whole bed and breakfast was well kept and clean. Breakfast was different both mornings but was very good. The view in the morning was gorgeous from the Queen room and being able to walk right out on the porch with a coffee made it even better.
