My wife and I stopped off at Piney Hill B&B on our way home from Washington D.C. to North Carolina. It was out of our way, but we wanted to pass through Shenandoah National Park - perhaps to see it again in the future.
Easy to find, breath taking views, tons of things to do, and the most welcoming and inviting hosts around. The breakfast is amazing and Hank and Wiley's personaltities and attention to detail will make the whole experience a memorable one.

There is an entrance to the national park closer to the B&B, maybe half an hour away. Breakfast was served a bit after 8, but you can reach out to the owners if you have any questions-- they're very helpful!
