We had a lovely weekend. The room was so cozy and quaint. The service was excellent. The dinner was delicious and the Elvis show was beyond wonderful! The Seafood Brunch buffet was just wonderful. The Prime Rib was exceptional and the raw bar was a delight! And, then the desserts ... OMG! A perfect getaway weekend for two. We will...

I enjoy staying at Historic Hotels, they are sometimes a bit quirky - as was our bathroom - but that helps you to remember that you are in a historic building. My husband and I stayed at the Mimslyn Inn and enjoyed our stay very much, it was very comfortable. We didn't eat at the restaurant (we went down the...

My wife and I bought a package on "Living Social" and stayed two nights at the wonderful Mimslyn Inn. The Inn ( which was built in 1931 and completely refurbished in 2005) sits on a knoll overlooking Main St. in Luray with a view of mountains in the background. A doorman greets you as you enter a grand lobby with...

Our stay at the Mimslyn Inn was excellent! The room was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was great at their restaurant downstairs in the Speakeasy. We are planning on returning and we were impressed. Loved it!

Driving up to Mimslyn...sun shining, wit blue grass band playing on the majestic porch...it was like entering another world. Fab cocktails on the patio, rooms were great...huge beds, extremely comfortable, very luxurious. Food was ok... Nothing too special, but all in all great place to stay when visiting blue ridge mountains

The Mimslyn Inn is a lovely place to stay in Luray. My friends stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The staff was very friendly, charming and helpful. You feel like you have stepped back in time while at the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable. They offer a AAA discount rate. Enjoy the history!...

This Victorian style Inn is beautiful and very well kept. The staff was delightful and the food was fantastic. We ate on the front porch dining area each night and loved it! The Jager Snitzel was delish! The only two things I wish would have been better were the water pressure in the shower (ouch!) and the AC unit in...

After reading the inviting copy on the website of Mimslyn, I planned a 3 day surprise trip for my husband to enjoy Southern Charm and Hospitality, a restored historic inn, hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, exploring the caverns. Full of expectations for a warm greeting (great copywriter!), we got an arctic breeze coming from a man at the front...

After enjoying the beautiful scenery of the skyline drive, we decided to spend the night at Luray and visit the Luray Caverns the next day. We didn't book any hotel in advance. At Luray we found this lovely historical house, such a beauty! Such a surprise !! After the long drive we spent some time at the great pool area...

While this was a first time overnight at the Inn, we've been there several times over the years for lunch or dinner. We had a lovely, large room w/sitting area that overlooked the front lawn and the view was amazing. Being a former valley gal, those views brought back special memories. It was sad though the doors that once opened...
