This Victorian style Inn is beautiful and very well kept. The staff was delightful and the food was fantastic. We ate on the front porch dining area each night and loved it! The Jager Snitzel was delish! The only two things I wish would have been better were the water pressure in the shower (ouch!) and the AC unit in...

After reading the inviting copy on the website of Mimslyn, I planned a 3 day surprise trip for my husband to enjoy Southern Charm and Hospitality, a restored historic inn, hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, exploring the caverns. Full of expectations for a warm greeting (great copywriter!), we got an arctic breeze coming from a man at the front...

After enjoying the beautiful scenery of the skyline drive, we decided to spend the night at Luray and visit the Luray Caverns the next day. We didn't book any hotel in advance. At Luray we found this lovely historical house, such a beauty! Such a surprise !! After the long drive we spent some time at the great pool area...

While this was a first time overnight at the Inn, we've been there several times over the years for lunch or dinner. We had a lovely, large room w/sitting area that overlooked the front lawn and the view was amazing. Being a former valley gal, those views brought back special memories. It was sad though the doors that once opened...

Beautiful historic property. Stayed with friends after hiking 6 days on the Appalachian Trail. Very nice rooms(a bit small by today's standards). Had wine pairing dinner which was great value. Stephanie did outstanding job.

From the young man at the door to the stiff drinks to that excellent service on the front porch, it could only be topped off by Steve and Jim's attention to making sure everything was just right. My husband and I had the wine dinner and thought it was nicely paired and reasonably priced. The wait staff needs to become...

We found the Inn online and knew nothing about it at that time. We were really pleased when we arrived and were greeted at the door by an attendant. Everybody was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The reason we picked the Inn was because we only had one night in the area and everybody else was asking for...

My wife and i finally had a night away with out the kids and we went to the Mimslyn Inn for parents night out. The hotel staff were great and very friendly. We opted for the couples massage in the downstairs spa. We had Rich and Brittany and they were great. My wife has back pains and Rich really took...

I took my 9 year old to the Inn for a night to help celebrate her birthday and have some fun one-on-one time with her. The staff at the Inn made everything very special for us, in every way! Besides being a gorgeous place to stay, the people at the Inn made it a truly memorable and fun experience for...
