Location is the best thing about this park. About 3 miles from Sequoia National Park, and on the Kaweah river, above the lake. They have WiFi, but it's only at the office. Cable gets a poor reception. Sites are deep, but very close together. Laundry has only 1 washer and dryer. There is a concrete patio, but it's small.

Nice minimal park. We'll kept. Nice people. Full hookups, 50 amp $44. Had showers and bathrooms we didn't use. A lil over priced. Our site was level. Cable ok. No WiFi. Closest park to Sequoia National Park. Got to see a couple of brown bears in park trees in morning. If went that way again would probably stay in nicer...

This park is about as close as you can get to camping near the Sequoia National Park. The cost of the campsites is just about right for the amenities you are getting – which are basic at best. The road into the campsite is scary narrow for a RV our size and getting into your campsite could be very challenging....

This is the best place to stay while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It’s just a few miles from the entrance, in the small town of Three Rivers. There’s a beach at the end of the drive that takes you to a pleasant swimming spot on the river. It’s nothing fancy, and we had no cell phone reception...

Pros. Closest rv campground to park entrance Cons. Sneaks up on you Not big rig friendly. Have to do a lot of wrangling around unless your rv is less than 25 foot. When you back in the picnic table is right outside you front door Oops. That's the rv to the right of you so when you step outside you...

Lots of partying and drinking. People on one side had four dogs that were penned up all night. They barked at everything. Lots of permanent residents. There is a river but not right at the rv sites. It was a mud pit. You had to walk over a .board through mud to get to the water. There are some gorgeous...

I found the tentsite okay. There is much space and you can choose which site you want to have. There is also a picnic table and a grill on each site. What I didnt like were the restrooms/showers. They always smelt, werent clean and you usually have to wait a few minutes. Other than that, the campground is very close...

The map on their website is completely wrong. We phoned before we went. We were told there was a beach and a swimming hole. (We were wondering why there was no pictures of the tent campsites, beach, or swimming hole.) When we got there, the beach was just mud, with no real water to swim in. The tent campgrounds were...

This was a great location to stop for the night after a full day in Sequoia National Park and it's a beautiful location near the river. However the cabin rental was a bit lacking with very uncomfortable and noisy beds, lousy pillows, and zero water pressure in the shower. The "cabin" was very small with a full bed and one...

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and it has a family atmosphere. Easy access and they just repaved their road in the Hideaway. The grounds are clean including showers and the swimming hole is one of the best in town. Great for kids and families.
