I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I have to make an exception for Sierra Lodge. The room we were in was not clean - not just a bit of dust here and there, but stains on the covers, hairs in the shower and a floor that was so grubby that I left footprints on the towel after walking across...

A decent place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was nice and rustic. The prime attraction of this place is its located near to the entrance of Sequoia Park. The staff here is very friendly. They even let us use their microwave to heat our food. The bathroom has hot water facility and the parking was right under our room which...

It was just a stopover from sfo to sequioa park, good location close to the park, very friendly staff. Room was clean but the whole complex is very very old. We arrived, slept and left early the next day. I would not have stayed more, the comfort being very very limited.

Booked this place so that we could stay in the mountains after a day visiting the redwoods. It's an OK place. Very pleasing to not have to drive for hours after a day in the mountains. Sat outside the room and watched the hills as the sun went down. Nice. Checkin: no issues. Owners seem nice enough. Room: big. Stuck...

Traveled in August 2016 with friends, booked two rooms. Bed bugs on my room, I was bitten 16 spots on all my limbs. Very concerned to have bring these bugs home. Although they streesed that they do monthly pest control. No problem on the other room we had. I guess only one positive is that I research quite a bit...

Friendly team of staff, room was clean - had a balcony and chairs to rest at in the evening, ice cold swimming pool and served pastries and porridge for breakfast. Close to NP entrance, but you do have to drive to restaurants, shops, etc, so don't make the mistake we did and have a nice cold beer by the pool...

We stayed here for a family event being held in the area. Staff is excellent; the gals at the front desk are friendly & accommodating. Our rooms were adequate in that they possessed all the usual necessities; bed, bathroom, dresser, tv.....after reading some of the other reviews, I'll say that while our rooms were surface-clean, they were lacking in detail-cleanliness....

This was the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed in. The room was not just "dated" every piece of furniture looked like they picked it up on the side of the road. it was not clean and when we asked for a second cleaning, they still missed some very disgusting smelly grease in the tiny kitchen. There were ants, no...

We used this place as our base to explore sequoia from. It's in many respects dated. The bed in particular was not up to scratch, with springs clearly present... We did manage to have a decent night sleep though. The pool is refreshing and clean and the breakfast, though modest, served as a good start to the day. The main...

We stayed at the Sierra Lodge 2 nights in the middle of a 6 day camping trip in the Sequoia's and Kings Canyon. We wanted a place to shower and rest and resupply. The location was good, property quaint, bed linens clean and hot water in the shower. The coffee maker was new. Those are the good qualities. Every corner...
