Loved the southwest flair of this hotel mixed with some of the modern accents in the remodeled areas. Connor greeted me and was very welcoming. Marcus was our valet and also gave us outstanding customer service. If you stay there ask for a room off the pool which is a new gorgeous Infiniti pool with 2 hot tubs. That side faces east and I think it has better views. The rooms with a balcony would be my 2nd choice. We had a basic room facing west but I did love how the windows opened up (swinging out - old school). Carpeting in hotel needs cleaning and our room was a bit warn. We had king room and it seemed like it need something more in it. But room was clean, nice bathroom, linens and towels fantastic. Location is just a block off the Plaza - valet parking in building (included in fees). No continental breakfast but free coffee in the restaurant Agave for hotel quests.

I am so glad I picked Eldorado Hotel for many reasons. Most important as a handicapped female getting around the Hotel was very friendly and very assessible with ramps and elevators. The staff accommodated me for whatever physical issue that was needed. The guest services Manager Roosevelt was so incredibly nice, accommodating, kind, and committed to providing an excellent experience. Roosevelt and his team are truly top notch providing a 5 star experience. Conner, Josh, Alvina. Roosevelt went out of his way to save our trip for us and for that I am forever grateful! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are large and spacious and very comfortable, the brand new pool is stunning and the lobby and other amenities are gorgeous and wonderfully decorated. The rates are very fair for Santa Fe and the hotel completely delivers the hacienda/adobe south west style I'm sure you're looking for when staying in Santa Fe. It is the PERFECT LOCATION *especially for handicap people who uses wheelchairs/walkers) the rooms overlook the beautiful square and mountains everything is within walking distance. It's everything you're looking for and probably more. I could not recommend this hotel and their incredible staff any more!! Thank you again to Roosevelt. Also Gabriel, who is the parking garage attendant, his smile, charisma and knkowledge of the area was very helpful and made us ladies feel safe in the garage area. The El Dorado is now our go to spot to stay when visiting Sante Fe.

...in an age of poor customer service or even non-existent, the staff was outstanding! The manager, Roosevelt as well as Josh were so very accommodating along with just about every other staff member. Anything we asked about, they were able to help us. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean. I requested daily linen service, at no additional charge. We never ate at the restaurant, but went one block away for breakfast at Sofia's restaurant. They have a wide selection and the food is good. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to spend some time. One of the other highlights of the stay at Eldorado was the valet attendant. If you want to know something about Santa Fe, food, places to shop, places to visit, he is your guy! And he is so very kind! I think his name is Gabriel. Overall, you can't go wrong staying at this hotel! I should also mention that the hotel is one block away for the downtown district, so it is very convenient to walk there.

Be aware that nothing is open on Sunday or Monday. Pool bar does not open until Tuesday after lunch. There is no valet parking but it was not a problem during my stay. Rooms seem to be recently remodeled except for the bath tub. The hallway carpets were stained and need to be replaced. Everyone was nice but they did not take care of the billing issue until i called the following week and was on hold 40 minutes and had to call back. Finally, Connor White found and corrected the issue promptly. Thanks Connor.

This Heritage property is our second. The first was the Albuquerque Hotel at Old Town. This hotel is full-service with parking in the basement, gym, and pool. The gym is small and the pool was closed unfortunately. The lobby is impressive. The location could not be better -- on W San Francisco St which leads to Palace of the Governors. There are resto in the hotel but we chose to eat outside. Using Google Maps to find this hotel from ABQ, we were directed to the Eldorado Hotel in Eldorado, NH, about 20 minutes away. We had a laugh! I think you'll like this hotel.
