For the price it was a very nice place to stay. It was about 20 minutes to Santa Fe, so a little bit out of the way but for $49/night who's complaining? It was clean, comfortable and I would definitley stay there again!

Simply a better price than the hilton down the road. Stay out of the restraunt its a waitress nightmare. We were regalled with stories of how she threw food at a customer and laid off for the week. She feels she did nothing wrong as the customer deserved it. Uggg tge biscuit was like paste in your mouth. The bacon...

We spent a restful evening in Santa Fe at the City of Gold Casino Hotel. In fact, this was quietest evening I can ever remember in any hotel. No road noise, other guest noise, etc. The hotel felt empty. The bed was comfortable, the TV was 20 yrs old but it worked. Coffee in room. Water in shower was hot....

Stayed a night at Cities of Gold. Only 40 bucks. Clean comfortable room. A lot of people stay here then go gamble at Buffalo Thunder. Quiet hotel and had no problems. Would stay here again. Didn't care much for the casino.

The day to go to this buffet is Sunday. Spending $21.00 to have all you can eat crab legs it's a bargain. When I go, I easily eat 70 or 80 dollars worth of crab. The quality of the other food is so so, with some "frozen and warmed" food. Even so, if you are eating the crab, its the...

The first room they gave us was occupied. Not sure how that happens in the computer age. The room we ended up with was a bit ghetto, a folded piece of paper leveled the TV cabinet. The TV was CRT. The paint was cracking. The heater smelled like burning hair. It's the little things. The little things here were icky....

This Hotel is part of one of the older Casino,s in New Mexico near Santa Fe. The rooms are large and bed comfortable, though its in need of a face lift. We ate at The Buffet which on a Saturday night was Prime Rib ,Shrimp Salad Soup and Dessert for only $7.99 each.! and once they dimmed the lights not...

After a busy afternoon we stopped in for some low key & air conditioned fun. Went to sign up for players card were shocked to find out they were linked to Buffalo Thunder. They are on opposite ends of the spectrum. We did wander a bit mostly older reel type machines. I did earn some freeplay pretty quick. But kind...

We got a coupon in the mail for 2 free nights. It had been a long time since we'd been to Cities of Gold, but thought "What the heck? It's free, lets do it!" I was afraid the place might be a little run down, but everything was clean and comfortable, plus the staff was very friendly. All in all,...

This place was everything I expected and more. They also have a nice little restaurant at the hotel. Jean Claude makes some nice sunny side eggs. Room was very clean, and staff was very attentive. Would stay here again.
