We spent 7 days/6 nights and have never been treated better or felt more cared for. It is just the right distance from everything. Wonderful daily breakfast prepared by a 'Gift from God'. The right feel, the right ambiance. Try to be their for 'Pie Day', you won't regret it :)

Thanks so much for the kind review Jim. We enjoyed you and Marjorie being with us for a nice long visit. We think innkeeping is much more about caring for our guests than the muffins. So pleased you felt well cared for! As you referenced, Friday is Pie-day at the Bear where guests enjoy one of our fresh crafted pies....

We were traveling through Santa Fe and wanted to stay somewhere with character and this place fit the bill. They had treats, a water dish, food dish, and bed mat ready for our dog when we entered our room. Using the Innkeeper's recommendation, we walked to the Plaza for a wonderful supper. We left early but a delicious continental breakfast...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rambling, picturesque inn is located on a quiet street a short walk from the old town. We stayed in the DH Lawrence room which has a cozy reading nook surrounded with books. The high quality linens made for a very comfortable bed. Innkeepers Dan and Alex are great conversationalists and fantastic cooks.

Nancy, so pleased you thoroughly enjoyed our Quintessential Rambling Adobe Estate during your stay with us. Our esteemed literary history includes frequent guests the likes of DH Lawrence, Willa Cather, and Aldous Huxley so we like to have many books at the Inn. Very happy you enjoyed your stay. This Inn was the perfect place to spend a week hiking around Santa Fe and getting some work done. The room and fireplace were cozy and conducive to well-being. Great breakfast, snacks, and wine in the evening. Just the right balance of privacy and social contact. Wonderful staff.

My husband and I stayed four nights to celebrate my birthday. The owner/innkeeper Dan and innkeeper Alex made our stay feel like we were staying with friends. The breakfasts were the best I've had in a B&B and the communal table let you chat with the other guests. The evening wine also lets you visit with the other guests and...

Stayed here for two nights. Dan, the Innkeeper, is a pleasure to work with. Breakfasts were very, very good, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the morning. You need to be sharp-eyed when you first arrive, as there are no external signs roadside, just a little turquoise bear icon on the street number at the entrance.

It was wonderful to have you and Christine stay with us Matthew! We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. We stayed 5 nights at this wonderful inn with beautiful Santa Fe architecture. Innkeeper Dan creates great gourmet breakfasts. Most important---they have pet friendly rooms. Our Corgi had a welcome bag of treats waiting for him.
