I absolutely loved this hotel - the lobby, the attached "cool" bar Secreto which is a hot-spot in town, the location right off the town square, the wonderfully warm hospitality shown by each and every person I interacted with while on the property. It just slightly off the main town square which I really appreciated (prefer this to being right...

We love this old historic hotel. Rooms are small but charming and you are right in the center of shopping and dining in old Santa Fe. The staff are friendly and the hotel dining and bar are quite adequate.

I wish someone told me this prior to checking in, but this hotel will charge a daily amenity deposit up front. I don't mean that the hotel will add $50 for your total stay. It's more like $50 a day and they will immediately charge this amount upon check in. I didn't know this prior to checking in and it...

Nice bungalows and the staff is interested in providing first-class service. They offer a limited breakfast in the mornings, but it's really good. In April, the trees were budding and there weren't as many people as can be in downtown during the summer. Most things are within walking distance.

Well this is probably our third trip to the St. Francis in the past 15 years. The hotel has been given a face lift and gone is the old Victorian décor which filled the rooms and the lobby. The hotel is now bright and airy as are the rooms. However, this is not a fancy hotel and the rooms tend...

We stayed at Hotel St. Francis for four nights over Thanksgiving and were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel and surroundings. The lobby is just lovely to spend time reading, iPadding, enjoying a bottle of wine and time with family in front of the beautiful fireplace. The rooms are small - there are many reviews to that affect. But if...

The hotel is so quintessential Santa Fe and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many of the rooms are small enough that you wouldn't want to spend a week in them, but we were quite comfortable. They are furnished in rustic southwest mission style and the beds are pillowy soft. If you're picky about having all possible amenities, don't stay here....

I like quirky. As long as it's comfortable that is, and the Hotel St. Francis delivers. This is an historic building, and has been renovated to modern standards while keeping the original bones of the Old West. Each room is different - some smaller than others - but all have some of that history intact while still bringing guests super...

This hotel once had a very comfortable, Victorian old western feel. An interior designer with limited skill or budget has turned it into a failed attempt to emulate an old world monasterial atmosphere. There isn't a single piece of important art used, in a town for quality art, the whole effort relying on reproductions. On the positive side, the bartenders,...
