We like Doug Montgomery's exceptional piano music and show so much that we are "regulars" at Vanessie when in New Mexico. Last week, we unexpectedly had to stay overnight in Santa Fe, and were glad that a room (actually was a suite) at Vanessie was available. Really nice, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Now our Vanessie experience is complete!

Perfect little spot for a couple retreat. Got in and out fast. Rooms were clean and well decorated. Pillows were too flat. Continental breakfast was good, staff offered to make eggs! Close to everything, we walked the entire time.

Room key won't work but they can't fix it until Tuesday. OJ was turning bad at their continental breakfast. Wifi poor to non existent. Simply no value. Staff is nice but can't get it done. There is better value nearby. We stayed here from a recommendation from a friend but can't imagine they had a similar experience.

Excellent stay! Hard to compare rooms since each is different. We had a bedroom, sitting room, sun room and an enclosed patio. Nice restaurant on site with live music on some weekends. The breakfast was excellent and also in the restaurant. Many options for food within walking distance. 3 blocks from the center of town.

Terrific stay at the Vanessie...tucked away, yet a walk to the historic part. Tastefully remodeled to included modern amenities, keeping in mind indigenous decor, comfortable bed and bedding made us feel pampered in our private elegant, yet relaxed, quarters. Breakfast was delicious and welcoming and the music at the end of the day was a lovely bonus!

What a charming place to stay. Great location, comfortable room and a charming breakfast in the morning. Not one problem with our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Very helpful staff at every turn and a charming restaurant right on site!

We stayed 7 nights in total comfort. The managers were all keen to sort out any minor issues we may have had, thankfully none were serious except for the internet isolation. The room was extremely comfortable and suited our needs. The restaurant was of 4 star standard and totally met our requirements. The piano bar was a major highlight. Thoroughly recommendable inn.

The Inn at Vanessie was such a great place for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to the historic part of Santa Fe, museums, gallaries and resturants. We loved the room we were in- with a sunroon and a little private patio. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was okay. Resturant has live music in the louge, if you are lucky...

We stayed in an upstairs suite and the room was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The location is excellent .. just far enough from the street noise and the square but just close enough for an easy walk to many restaurants and attractions. The complimentary breakfast is a great bonus but the best bonus is in the lounge. Everybody in...

The good: Location: The inn location is good. Almost excellent. Breakfast: in an elegant, open, airy, light grand room. Berries and eggs are great. Cake is substandard. Yogurt is sweetened. We prefer natural. Juices and milk and coffee and tea. Room: Well furnished. Clean. Comfortable. If you're in room 4, you will have to close your window blinds and lose...
