This is not your typical Bed & Breakfast and is run by a non-owner staff who are part-time resident in the home. It suffers accordingly in a lack of warmth and feels much more like staying in a small hotel or inn, which in fairness is how it's advertised. What we liked: -great location for walking on the riverwalk or...

When we arrived 'The Oge House', we were excited and speechless - what a beautiful antebellum mansion, full of history, in the middle of a big, well maintened park! The interior furnishing is noble and luxerios, the breakfast in the morning pure pleasure! San Antonio is a real cracker, Noble Inns simply the best! We enjoy! Roland

Libel, one of the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Located very nicely along a very quiet section of the river walk. Also located within walking distance to many other restaurants. Rooms were big, quiet, and comfortable.

This elegant bed and breakfast on the river walk in San Antonio was outstanding. The room and atmosphere was one of the best we have experience. Lisle and Cindy went out of their way for us. Both were exuberant in their display of southern hospitality! Lisle even arranged for bike rentals to be delivered to the house. We were able...

We stayed two nights at the Oge House in San Antonio. The innkeepers were very helpful with directions and conscientiously asked about special food or room accommodation needs. The house itself was lovely; great location in a historic neighborhood and close enough to walk to the Riverwalk, Alamo, restaurants, and shopping. Other sites such as the mission trail would require...

Enjoyed staying at this Bed And Breakfast. Had great service, friendly and helpful personnel, wonderful breakfast, walking distance to downtown without the hassle of traffic and parking. Access to the River Walk was perfect, right behind our B&B.

I found this to be a wonderful place to stay and it's location was the perfect place. It was centrally located to downtown without being in downtown. I enjoyed the meals, the service, the rooms, and the comfortable atmosphere. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and at home.

We escaped chilly New England and traveled to San Antonio, Texas in late March/early April. We opted to stay at a bed and breakfast and decided on the Oge House due to reviews we read. We were definitely pleased! The Oge House is within walking distance to Riverwalk, the Alamo, la Villita, Mexican Market, Saga, yet in the quiet neighborhood...

What a beautiful B&B. My husband and I stayed in the carriage house. It was nicely decorated and felt like home. The women that work there are wonderful. Breakfast is a special treat. Each morning we ate something different and had fun visiting with the inn keeper and other guests. The Oge house is conveniently located by the River walk....
