This was a great place to stay with an excellent breakfast. Enjoyed going out on the deck. We enjoyed the location that was walking distance to the Alamo and many restaurants. The Mockingbird is a nice two room suite. Loved the historical area.

The innkeepers were Darrin and Keith Hammons and were fantastic. Thet anticipated every need we had during our stay and made our visit feel like home. Breakfasts were delicious and made the start of the day perfect as we ventured out to see the sights of San Antonio. The B&B is located in the King William historical district of San...

We stayed at the Brackenridge House Bed and Breakfast in San Antonio. It was a wonderful place to stay in the historic King William area about a 20 minute walk from all the shops and reataurants on the Riverwalk. We stayed in the Bluebird Suite. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The bedroom had an...

We stayed in the Mockingbird suite up stairs across from the dining room. This is a two room suite with a large bedroom and a nice separate sitting area. There is a counter with sink in the sitting room to prepare a meal if you wished. The bathroom is a bit cramped but functional. You also have an additional common...

We stayed at Brackenridge House over the New Years weekend. The House is in the King William district, a thoroughly pleasant area of late 19th and early 20th century homes. Many of the residences have been designated as historic buildings, some of which have guided tours of the grounds and interiors. The Brackenridge House is also of that genre. Entering...

Trains run by there all night, cannot change temperature in your room, Porch light stays on all night with no blind covering it so no sleep!! "Full breakfast" was not served until 9 a.m. Never saw any innkeeper or manager when we arrived and when we left.

We appreciate the time you took to write a review about our B&B and we will consider your comments in order to improve our service. It is not often that we miss greeting our guests personally as that is a great benefit of being an innkeeper. We correspond with our guests before they check in and we ask for an...

Good location - Riverwalk is very close by (one end of it anyway) and really is close enough to downtown if you don't mind a little walk. LOTS of places to eat within walking distance! Free parking (street). The only time it was hard was during the Free Friday night event. But it's cool because this place is very close...

One of the challenges of turning a historical building into a Bed & Breakfast Inn is to make the rooms comfortable and useful to travelers without losing the charm and ambiance of the original structure. It certainly wasn’t built as a soundproofed new hotel. Please contact us during your stay if you have concerns. And, as you write, the location...

My wife and I recently stayed in the Hummingbird room and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were there for 3 nights and had breakfast all 3 mornings. Breakfast was delicious each time. The staff is beyond friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate us anytime we had a request. It's only a 15 minute walk to the riverwalk...

Visited Brackenridge on our honeymoon and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Mrs. lily and her husband are so sweet, the house is gorgeous and very much so accommodating. Definitely making it a yearly trip!

The house is in the historic district of SA and the street is tree lined and very quiet. We parked off street but you could also park in the street as there were no restrictions and very little traffic. Not quite close enough to walk to the centre. Great to sit on the veranda to eat breakfast and watch the...
