Excellent acommodations and location. Host and Hostess were terrific and very helpful in providing ideas for what to see and do. Especially appreciated the privacy and room size-- our room was beautifully decorated and the bath was perfect. Easy access and parking is a big plus. Location could not be better--River Walk, restaurants and down town area. An absolute excellent...

My lady and I have found "our spot" in San Antonio! We can't imagine staying at any other place in town. The Magnolia Room was spacious, quiet and nicely laid out. The accommodations are classy, comfortable and very cozy. The King William District has so many things to see and do and it's all a short walk away. I even...

We arrived after a 9 hour drive to find our hosts had delayed leaving for the evening just to greet us and get us settled in. They even reffered us to an excellent and out of the ordnary restaurant where we could grab a late dinner. The accomodations were not only incredibly charming and comfortable, but were stocked with absolutely...

The Yellow Rose had all the comforts of home and then some. We absolutley loved the location. The King William area has so many historical homes that are so beautiful. We were there during Fiesta so they were all decorated that was a hugh plus. The walk to the riverwalk was enjoyable. Staying there you almost forget that you are...

I needed to be near downtown SA but didn't want to stay in the conference hotel. The Yellow Rose is just a 15-minute walk away but in a residential neighborhood full of trees and flowers. Public transportation runs frequently too. I stayed in the spacious Provence room which is very restfully decorated. There's plenty of space in the closet and...

This was a perfect location. Just 2 blocks off the Riverwalk and 4 blocks from our favorite restaurant, The Guenther House. This was our third visit to San Antonio in a 4-year period and our first stay at A Yellow Rose. The bedroom/sitting room area and the bathroom were both very large and made our 4-night stay most comfortable. One...

We stayed in the Carriage House of the Yellow Rose. We didn't get choose our room, but were placed in the above-the-garage apartment which is separate from the house, even though there were obviously vacancies in the house. The only perk was the full kitchen, which saved us money on lunches because we could save and reheat leftovers. The Yellow...

As our webpage clearly states, we offer a choice of rates based on the breakfast style. When people call, we go over the choices and answer any questions. Our cancellation policy is also clearly outlined and explained. The price we charge for a full breakfast delivered to the room is the average rate charged by other inns in our area.

We stayed in the Bordeaux Room: large, especially the bathroom, well appointed, well cared for. If you're a walker all the San Antonio downtown sites are within easy strolls. Deb and Kit are terrific hosts, and Esme is a gem. Neighborhood restaurants are to die for. We are B/B people and this ranks right up there with the best.

A Yellow Rose exceeded all of our expectations. My wife and I had reserved four of the five rooms for a weekend family getaway. The accomodations were spacious, very clean, and well appointed. The breakfast offerings were delicious, although not provided until 9:00 AM, which was a little later than I prefer, but was perfect for everyone else. The King...
