Everything was seamless although we didn't get to interact with the couple that owns the place much. The room was huge and comfortable, very quiet, and we got off street parking. KW is a beautiful neighborhood and the yellow rose is just a couple of blocks from restaurants (B, L, or D) and bars. In a doz trips over the... More

This is a comfortable B&B. Plenty of room. Parking in the back. Can walk to Alamo area in 15-20 minutes. There are some good restaurants nearby. It would help a lot if there were a map of the close-by and downtown areas. One apparently was supposed to be available, but non delivered even if we requested it.

A Yellow Rose is in the Arts district of San Antonio. The location is perfect for any downtown convention or business meeting that is located at the Convention Center. This quiet neighborhood B&B is a beautiful old home with charming rooms. The room I stayed in was on the 2nd floor. The stairs were a bit steep but no problem.... More

This large and comfortable room is located in the historic King Williams district. Private bathroom with great soaking tub, shower and two vanities. Easy stroll to the Riverwalk and many great restaurants. Owners friendly and very accommodating, made this feel home away from home. Looking forward to our next stay.

First time ever staying in a B & B. Very clean, was ready when we arrived, Ice cold A/C and very quaint. Easy walk to the Tower of Americas and Chart House restaurant. Just a bit in the other direction you can get onto the River Walk and walk for miles like we did. The walk up takes you past... More

The B&B is beautiful inside and out. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. Deb was the perfect hostess! I can't wait to go back and I just left. The room was oversized and still felt cozy. The bathroom was amazing... Beautifully designed to accommodate two adults. Perfectly located on a quiet street while still close enough to everything. Thank... More

The room was very large. The full breakfast was delicious and filling. The location in the heart of King William district. Several very fine restaurants are a short walk. We stayed during Southtown First Friday Art Walk. The first breakfast was a quiche, fruit, and homemade bread. The second breakfast was blitzes. Bacon, and homemade banana nut bread. The coffee... We saw two of the four rooms and both rooms provided an ample area with the bath totally separate. The location should be an amenity as you'll find it entertaining to simply walk to see the elegant homes. We found ourselves walking everywhere except for the missions (Alamo is within walking distance). The owners are knowledgeable and quietly available. You... More

Stayed in the Bordeaux room. Beautiful! Short walk to the Riverwalk (the less touristy part) and downtown. Cool area of town (King William District) with beautiful mansions lining the streets, that I did not know about prior to booking the B&B. Deb was very helpful and accommodating. Overall a great stay!

Its been a bit since my visit, but I still remember it fondly. The room was darling. It was easy to pretend that we were visiting a Texas from the past. The food was good and the owner was very friendly. We were treated very well and found the area very quiet and pleasant to walk in.
