The bed was not comfortable at all, the mattress was well past its prime and should have been replaced a long time ago. The kitchen area had chairs with tears and nasty stains on it. The blinds or curtains were missing in the kitchen, there were stains on the carpet in the living room area.

Hotel's Favourite
We booked a room at the Best Western Plus Palo Alto for a weekend visit with family. Victor the front desk manager was so friendly and helpful. We reserved a king suite and the room was spacious and clean. My husband liked the convenience of the ice machine being on our floor close to the elevator. We will be staying here again and I recommend this hotel to any one vising the south side of San Antonio and looking for a hotel.

Ended up leaving. Open alcohol containers in the hallways and elevator. Broken lamps. Broken ac. Broken plumbing. Ripped curtains. Ripped lampshades. Lamps that didn’t work. Pool was closed. Crackheads at the adjacent 7/11.

We Were Provided Gracious Hospitality By Jake The Entire Stay. I Was Detained In San Antonio Due To A Medical Emergency. The Mgr Kevin & Jake Eased My Situation. The hotel guest rooms are a rundown, broke-down, mess. Bath fixtures did not work, mold was growing out of control around the bath, nearly everything in the room half broken - from the crooked TV on the wall to the missing cabinet cover in the bath. The mattress is horrible and feels like it has not been changed since previous decade. At least the staff was pleasant.

Everything was fair with exception to the floors in the rooms. They looked clean but our 11 month old had black knees and the top of her feet from crawling. The pool/hot tub wasn't very clean. Hot tub actually had a soapy substance in it.

Lacked customer service; very unprofessional. We were attending a funeral nearby, and had to make last minute reservations. Had we had more time to spare, I would've canceled my reservation and gone elsewhere.

We checked in late and a security truck was patrolling the parking lot. I felt safe unloading the car. Front desk was great service. Rooms were very clean. Free breakfast. Hotel runs along the service road. Jack in the box and gas station next door. Indoor pool and smoking area in back.

We are Best Western Reward members and like to stay at Premier and Plus hotels. We planned on visiting family in San Antonio, so booked the BW Plus Palo Alto Inn because it was the closest, and looked quite nice in all the photos. Unfortunately, we didn't read all the reviews. Our room was so sad, tired and dirty. The furniture was ripped and so dirty we had to ask for two sheets to cover them in order to feel comfortable sitting on them. The TV worked 1 day, but then decided to stop working. No one could help us because "we're not allows to go up there" said the desk clerk. No manager, no maintenance person, just a minimum wage clerk who could offer no help. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The bathroom was so dirty, I had to wear flip flops to walk on the floor. Overall, they need a complete renovation and customer service training. …
