Area isn’t the best and the hotel is adequate for the area. It’s alright if you’re working but not somewhere I’d bring the kids. From what I was told is to next time find something in north sa or the river walk.
Love the manager Chris is very true and integrity follows his nature/ he is honest man speaks and spiritually positive all the time / people love him because he cares and goes out of his way to help people/ impossible to replace a man of such character !!!! Man of passion truth integrity out of the norm and everywhere he goes his positive attitude gravitates towards people! Everyone loves him thank you Chris Bonewald never stop being you
Over all goods experience. Breakfast was Okay, great location, and the staff was very friendly. wasn't as clean as i hoped it would be.and like every thing else now days..., It seemed as if they were under staffed a bit.
Did not honor my request (in advance) for adjoining rooms even though they clearly had at least one available. Not real easy to get to the property. Overpriced in comparison to other Best Western in the area.
Check in was fine. Room had empty Redbull can by bed. Remote for tv didn't work. Noisey, could hear other guests next door, upstairs and outside traffic noises. The pool was dirty, and the spa had grimey film on the edges. It was in process of being updated, so mess along the halls and in the breakfast room. Breakfast choices were ok. Front desk personnel very friendly. Great location near SeaWorld. Value on a budget.
If you like unclean/smelly rooms, noisy yelling neighbors, stomping kids feet above your room and somewhat digestible free breakfast then this place is perfect for you! Last 2 nights had the pleasure of listening to stomping feet (kids/adults) from 11pm-12:30am then the next night a couples argument at 1am. What fun! And the cigarette mold smell will definitely give you the headache of your dreams. And that breakfast? Well it's so yummy even my dog (if I had one) would pass it off under the table too. But in all seriousness, it's really my fault rushing to plan a last minute spring break vacation and not researching thoroughly. And no this hotel isn't across the street or really close by to SeaWorld that I thought it was due to the name. It's about 10-15min drive.
we enjoyed the stay at the hotel, nice breakfast spread with lot of variety. Hotel is centrally located to - riverwalk, sea world, lot of restaurants around and very close to "The Natural Bridge Caverns"
Good location for SeaWorld but the hotel is in a poor state of repair. There were several broken tiles on the bathroom floor that caused a potential hazard and risk to cutting feet. The baseboards were broken in the bathroom. There were random black curly hairs in the bathroom when we first got to the room. The carpet had fluff and bits of trash on the floor. The public areas are not clean and again in a poor state of repair. THere is a reasonable choice of breakfast items but no one replenished the breakfast when it was out and the food looked like it had been sitting around for some time. The pool and hottub are nice and in better condition than most of the hotel.
If your looking for a kid friendly place to sleep, look no further. This place is amazing we love staying there every time we stay in San Antonio and it’s cheap. Good breakfast and the people there are so nice.
The hotel was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good. All of the front staff and maid service were very professional, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The price was very reasonable.
