My wife and I stayed for one night in the off-season (winter). The house was quiet, peaceful, and clean, and we really appreciated the proximity to downtown Salem (we didn't use our car at all during the stay). Flora also prepared a great breakfast with a healthy touch. We'd definitely go back!

My boyfriend booked a night at Northey Street House for my birthday weekend. Neither one of us had ever stayed at a Bed & Breakfast & after this experience we DEFINITELY will be staying at them from now on - & will absolutely return to Northey Street House! Flora was a wonderful hostess, the house was beautiful, our room was...

Flora's Home is nestled into a quiet area. Her house is immaculately clean and she was very helpful from the minute we started our booking... Upon our arrival she was very gracious and helpful with the places to go for dinner close by. Overall a very good experience......

Northey Street House, hemmed in by tall maples and elms and immaculately-maintained nineteenth-century homes, has a sedate, historic texture that captures much of Salem’s signature quaint charm. We stayed in the Woodbury Room. It was soft, clean, and spacious: quite cozy even in mid-November. Decor of Escher and nautically-themed prints, and decorative fireplace with decorative glass and candles on the...

I highly recommend this excellent B&B. The building and our room were both cozy and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the beds which I've found to be disappointing in most B&Bs. Location is great, we were visiting friends in Boston and used public transport to get around and had no issues.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and was a memorable experience. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was excellent and the owner is so personable and a great chef. Couldn't finish the delicious food. This gem is located not far from the hub and bustle of downtown. This is a must stay location. Book early as it...

Our family chose to stay here for Halloween, and absolutely loved it! The location was about a 5-10 minute walk from the main street of Salem - Essex St. We stayed in the Captain's Room, which was the perfect size for the three of us. It was also conveniently located on the same floor as the house's living room and...

Three of my grandchildren and I were fortunate to stay at the Garden Room for Halloween week-end 2016. The room description states that "It utilizes the Japanese small space concept" so we were prepared for a very small area especially since we have visited Japan and experienced Japanese small space concepts in the hotels where we stayed. We were pleasantly...

A very agreable stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The hostess was welcoming and helpful. I was very happy of my experience in this B&B. It is perfectly located and the homemade breakfast makes you realized that you did the right choice by not reserving in a hotel. I highly recommand.

We were there for a mother and daughter getaway and our stay was perfect. The room was beautiful, the breakfasts were amazing and Flora was wonderful. She offered ideas on things to see and do and her knowledge of the area was greatly appreciated. Our stay exceeded all our expectations.
