15 minutes walk from centre of Salem, clean and comfortable. Reception was helpful and informative. Accommodation provided plenty of parking and was quiet. Complimentary $3 cards for use at Dunkin Donuts just across the road.

The Pros - its a great rate, rooms are spacious although dated, ample parking, good restaurants just down the street. There is a K-cup machine in your room. Its about a 7 minute drive to downtown. Ice machine in the lobby.

Yes, if you like to walk it's probably 20 minutes from downtown. My son and I did it several times when we stayed at the Clipper Shop Inn. If you decide that you don't want to walk, a cab ride is only a few dollars.
