The Stepping Stone Inn is lovely and the location is perfect. It's right in central Salem. The owners are welcoming and helpful. They sent an email with activity and restaurant suggestions as soon as I booked, which was appreciated! I would stay again in a second.

Hi Lisa, Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Kelly and I so enjoyed hosting you during your stay in Salem and would love for you to come visit again soon. There's so much to see in Salem and the surrounding area that you could come back and not even repeat any of the places you've already visited. Thanks again!...

Matt, the innkeeper, was there to meet me on my late arrival Friday night. My room was spacious and clean and even had a rocking chair which I loved and used. Plenty of towels were provided and the bathroom was clean and fresh smelling. Downstairs coffee and tea are available all the time which is a nice perk. There is...

My husband and I stayed at the Stepping Stone Inn for 4 nights. It was our first B&B experience and I am so glad that it could be at this inn. We had such a wonderful time. First about the Inn: it is in the middle of everywhere. Located next to the Salem Witch Museum. We were able to walk...

My wife and I stayed at he Stepping Stone Inn while touring the East Coast. We'd both always wanted to visit Salem. My wife chose the Stepping Stone Inn because it was centrally located, had car parking, was reasonably priced and looked authentic. To me, it sounded good. Having now stayed at the Stepping Stone Inn, I can say it...

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and it was an exceptional experience. Matt, our host, was very friendly, had great knowledge of the area and quality suggestions for places to visit in Salem. We stayed in the San Francisco room. It was warm and cosy, which was good as it was snowing while we were here! Lovely...

We stayed at the Stepping Stone Inn a while back and had the most amazing time. The room (San Francisco) was comfortable and gorgeous, and the whole place reflects the personalities of the owners, making for a way more interesting stay than our motels of the past. The owners, a lovely couple, were able to direct us to so many...

We stayed at the Stepping Stone recently and had a great time during our stay in Salem. We chose it for it's charm and proximity to just about every awesome thing there is to do in Salem. The two owners are the help, and their cat is a cutie. The room was charming, the breakfast was great, we truly enjoyed our time here. Everything was walking distance, and parking is in a garage near the hotel, which was included with the room.
