This hotel is old and tired, and very noisy. The core of the hotel is a huge open atrium that acts as an echo chamber for all noise down in the bar and restaurant area. Also, the plumbing makes a terrible hissing noise. Next door to the hotel is a lot of construction - where the

We stayed here years ago before we moved to Tucson. We decided to have dinner here before going to a play on the University campus. Some of the better restaurants around the University of AZ have closed and we wanted something quieter than the college bars that were left. The

Dear Jeanb1876, Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your dining experience at the Tucson Marriott University Park. I am very disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your meal! I have shared your comments with our Executive Chef, and he is going to look in to what may have happened. This is uncharacteristic of our food and I am surprised to hear this. I am sorry that we were not able to provide you with an excellent experience. I hope you will allow us another chance to serve you, should you come back to the hotel before the next play you attend!

can you walk to Univ of AZ College of Medicine from this hotel? Is breakfast included?
We are a mile from the hospital but are less than a block away from the streetcar that will drop you off at the side entrance of the hospital. A streetcar pass that is good for all day can be purchased for $4.00. We are a full service hotel that offers a breakfast and lunch buffet as well as an option for ordering off our menu, however there is a charge for all of the food and beverage offerings.
