Orchestrated ruckus--a place desperately seeking a personality. Sleep there only if you don't need to sleep. Also, was told upon check-in "Thanks to our liquor license, you can bring alcohol in from outside." EXACT WORDS. Then, after I did just that, I had a bottle...More

We are so sorry to hear your stay with us wasn’t a pleasant one! Being located in the heart of downtown Tucson above a restaurant and club can certainly pose noise issues to guests. We are diligent about informing our guests when booking a room...More

I recently visited the Hotel Congress on a combination fun/work trip. I usually prefer modern hotels, but decided to step outside my comfort zone a bit with this one. I'm glad I did. It's basically just a cool place. My room was cozy and clean,...More

Thank you for the wonderful review and taking a chance and stepping out of your comfort zone. You found out we are a fun and friendly place. I think you are right, people must have been smaller back in the day.

Do you see in the other reviews where it is mentioned that this hotel is loud? Do you see? Believe it! There is live music every night, and street noise all night, and if you think that will bother you, don't stay here. They are...More

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm sorry that we helped you find a new noise tolerance level. Glad you liked the restaurant and bars.

This is certainly a historic hotel and has a certain charm. When we checked in the guy at reception told us our hotel was "done out in the 30's style". Actually it looked as though nothing had been done to it since the 30's! Although...More

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed here. Everything that is said is true....it is loud as all get out and is run by a bunch of hipster kids...and I love it! :-) The history is cool, the rooms are neat...More

Our room was nice and cool, no a/c was needed but that was in May, not July or August. Plenty of parking available in nearby garage, a bit of a walk, but not uncomfortable. Creative juggling I would recommend!
