We stayed two nights in room "La Rosa" upon arriving in the US last month, and Hacienda del Desierto was the same as we remembered it: it is very quiet and remote from any main road, with a big yard with its own nature trail and local wildlife literally on our doorstep (javelinas visiting and a Cactus Wren's nest 5...

Hacienda del Desierto is beautiful, comfortable, convenient and restful, and hosts David, Mary and Shanna are gracious and interesting. I loved that the location was near beautiful hiking and biking, the breakfasts ample and delicious, and the amenities (gardens, internet, hot tub, public spaces) perfect to come "home" to after active days.

I traveled to Tucson for two days with my daughter and stayed at the Hacienda Del Desierto Bed and Breakfast. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous; a clear result of meticulous cultivation over many years. The room was large and the patio was a terrific place to simply sit back and relax. Finally, Dave...

Finally got back to Dave and Rosemary’s wonderful B&B, the Hacienda del Desierto, staying in the Casita with another couple. The Casita is completely separated from the main house, has 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen and single bath, and washer and dryer. It has its own large hot tub, which we made plenty of use – it felt great,...

We stayed at this absolutely marvelous B&B while in the Tucson area. The proprietors David and Rosemary are very well-versed about the local area and they take great pride in their property. We hiked the nature trail on their property, enjoyed an absolutely unique and delightful breakfast every morning, and even experienced an up-close and personal visit from a herd...

The suites are gorgeous, comfortable beds, private settings, the old Mexican style villas have every comfort you could ever want, really made us feel at home! There is...

Four women friends shared the casita and enjoyed the full kitchen and hot tub. We bought groceries once at Whole Foods and then enjoyed spending our evenings on the back porch with wine and easy dinners. We tend to end our evenings in the immaculate hot tub to rest our sore muscles after our very active days spent hiking in...

Wonderful stay! Our bedroom with sunken parlor was decorated with charm and desert ambiance. The breakfasts were very tasty as well as beautifully presented. The scones were my favorite. Rosemary and David were helpful in sightseeing suggestions and wonderful hosts. This is one of my all time favorite places I have ever stayed. A gem in the desert!
