The house and grounds are artfully decorated and impeccably kept. The themed guest room we stayed in was roomy, very clean, and comfortable. The innkeeper is very dependable and accommodating. Great location.

We enjoyed the walkability of this location to the University of Arizona and the 4th Ave/6th St. eating district as well as the friendly hosts, the quaint turn-of-the-century home, and delicious breakfasts.

Nice inn with great owners and delicious breakfast. Very convenient to many destinations by walking or mass transit. Some rooms are nicer than others so be sure to ask when booking your stay. Lea and her staff work very hard to make you feel welcome and are there with recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Highly recommended!

I stay at The Big Blue House every year during the Tucson Festival of Books and I can't tell you how wonderful this place is...always accommodating, always a home-away-from-home and I live here in Tucson! Spacious rooms, the kitchenettes are fantastic, great porch to hang out with friends. Fun neighborhood, nearby to all sort of great restaurants and bars, 4th...

Beautiful from the outside but not inside. But this reality isn't reflected on their website which shows each room as beautiful & upscale. They are not. That said: the Big Blue House has a great location, very good breakfasts and the host, Ryan, was very accommodating and helpful.

The most outstanding feature was the large, comfortable wrap-around porch with comfortable rockers and chairs. The neighborhood was quiet. My room in this historic Tucson house was large, the bed comfortable and all amenities were provided. A high quality breakfast was provided on time each morning in the breakfast house. What a happy experience.

It felt like grandma's house..charmingly worn and comfortable. Set in a great neighborhood for walking and shopping. Loved sitting on the front porch in the evening. My friend and I stayed a week and never had the same breakfast. All were delicious, but my favorite was the sweet potato hash. YUM!

We stayed in the 2 room suite this past weekend while visiting my nephew at U of A & that worked out perfectly for the 3 of us. It was so nice to have the 2 separate bedrooms. The location of the house is great--you can basically walk to everything. The decor in the house is just fantastic! Everything has...

Great location, awesome hospitality and the owner is one helluva cook! From the moment we met her, we were happy with our decision to choose this B&B. We were in town Valentine's Day for the basketball game and stayed at Lazslo's home. (Lazslo is the resident kitty cat, and I am certain that it is his house...that being said, he...
