We stayed just one night to visit family. We picked this hotel because it is walking distance to the University. The hotel is just "Ok". We like to stay in hotels that have a bar to relax at. I am not sure if 4 bar stools and a counter should count as a bar! The staff was very helpful, and...

So sorry to hear your stay was just ok. We strive to give a vibe that is all about mixing and mingling while you are with us at Aloft Tucson University. Our Wxyz bar anchors our Remix area where our guests can socialize and even shoot a game of pool. Thanks for the shout out about our very helpful Talent...

I booked a trip to visit my son who goes to the U of A. In the past I have stayed at the Marriott. We tend to stay at Marriott's when we travel. So let's compare the Marriott to Aloft, Parking--Aloft offers free parking. Marriott has valet and a parking garage for I believe $12 a day extra. No sure...

Right in the heart of the University of Arizona, and near to downtown, this hotel has a great location. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathroom sink is outside the area of the toilet and the shower, which is a great convenience for two people staying in a room. The shower could use a grab bar, because the shower...

Nothing I don't like about this hotel and been staying there for last 4 years at least once a month to see my kids in college. Always clean, staff always friendly, and best location next to university. Also has free parking underground which is nice and very convenient. Food available 24 hours a day. Very trending bar and lobby space...

Reception area had a very cool feel and so did the employee working there. This hotel is right across the street from U of A. It has a college type feel to it. Rooms feel like a glorified dorm room. Nice bar, pool table in lounge. Food area where you can't purchase food, snacks and fresh fruit. Right across the...

Thanks for the review Dana. I am sorry the traffic noise get you up. We do have ear plugs available to ease the noise. As you mentioned, we are right in the heart of University of Arizona and Banner Health campuses. And yes, we strive to give every guest that Aloft experience of being able to mix and mingle in...

Booked this hotel during the Gem show time in Tucson. Aloft was the cheapest hotel with great amenities and a modern design. Staff was excellent and bent over backwards to assist, just watch out for the guard dog Honey! Lol! No seriously they have a Chihuahua on staff. I highly recommend if you are in town for a hip nice...

Thank you for the great feedback. You will be happy to know that Honey was adopted and will be off to her forever home! Next time you come, we should have our new canine on staff from the Humane Society.

This hotel has a great location for visiting the U of A campus and it was an ideal spot for my stay as the conference I was attending was only a few blocks away. That being said, you pay for the location - quite a bit more than you would for a similar quality hotel elsewhere. There are a lot...

Thank for taking the time to give us some feedback. We especially like the 5 stars for cleanliness. I apologize for the noise you encountered. Our location is right across from the University and Banner Health Hospital. We do have earplugs at our desk if you need. Thanks again for staying with us.

Of course every one has had their bad stays with hotels, but I can definitely say this is my worst experience ever! When we got checked in, turns out they checked us into a room that was already occupied! The young guy was very nice about it, but it was still an inconvenience that took about 20-30 minutes to fix...

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Aloft. I am sorry that you experienced difficulties with your check in. We certainly want each of our guests to have a great stay with us while in Tucson. I do understand that the zero balance folio can be confusing, it merely shows that the room, tax and incidental charges, if...

This hotel is located on the intersection of two busy streets and sits diagonally across the intersection from the health science campus of the University of Arizona (the campus is in an L shape with the health science campus on the top of the L). There is a lot of traffic noise that despite the heavy glass windows, was very...

Thank you so much for the review. You are right, we are in a great part of Tucson right across from the University of Arizona, in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood. We are in the process of getting that window fixed. It is a bee bee hole that was generated by one of our younger guests. So no worries! Again...

Stayed at this property for 3 nights while my mother was in the hospital and the staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Edward went above and beyond! He is an asset to your hotel and deserves praise and a raise!! Thank you Aloft Tucson for the wonderful hospitality! Rooms were clean and hotel is located near great amenities.
