Hacienda Linda couldn't be better! We were surrounded by the beauty and color of nature and the love and generosity of our hosts, Linda and Dan—all that a secluded retreat in the desert could offer. We had the queen room, decorated with eclectic and colorful art and a super comfortable bed from which I looked out the window at dusk...

On a three week road trip, Hacienda Linda was to be a 2 day stop. After the first night we extended to 4 nights. It is in a beautiful location just at the edge of the Saguaro National Forest, so you feel like you have really gotten away. We have stayed at many B&B's and this was the best --...

I was wondering what business could get 99% 5's in Trip advisors reviews like Hacienda Linda did.. Well, all the 5 ratings were true!! Exceptional service, yummy breakfast, cool and tasteful decor, extremely friendly and warm hospitality by Linda and her husband in a place bordering a national park! What more can one say? Before retiring I traveled many, many miles...

Hacienda Linda is a place where you experience magic. You enter as a visitor. You leave as part of a family. Linda and Dan are the embodiment of everything you want to find in, both a proprietor, and in a friend. They are engaging, attentive, and great hosts. Their culinary prowess is ridiculously good! Their canine compatriot, Bella, is a...

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending a memorable three day visit to this hacienda, just after Xmas 2015. Linda and Dan were very engaging and entertaining hosts, as well as superb cooks. As animal lovers, my wife and I both fell in love with Bella, found her to be the sweetest dog we've ever met, and...

Having visited in 2013 and written a review ('Unforgettable beauty, friendliness and luxury...'), I visited with my adult son again earlier this year. It was like returning home, if home is a dream-come-true site surrounded by a wonderland of towering saguaros and other dessert plants along with a diverse range of colorful birds, and your house there is a work...

My wife and I escaped to the desert near Tucson for 3 nights of some stargazing (meteor shower) and sun. Weather was a disappointment (unseasonably cold and some rain) but warm treatment by Linda & Dan made up for it. Great location for viewing the night sky. and a true desert hacienda, near the Desert Museum and about 45 minutes...

I've always thought the very best vacations are experiences that are as far removed from one's day-to-day routine as possible. Adventures planned for climates, cultures, and physical accommodations which are vastly different from "home" offer opportunities not only to relax and rejuvenate but to absorb the very essence of a place. Unless your regular abode is a ranch in the...

It’s taken me a few weeks to write this review because there was something very special about Hacienda Linda and I didn’t know how to get that point across effectively. I knew that I could write about the beautiful décor, the solitary and peaceful surroundings, and the delicious breakfasts. But because my time at HL was so magical (not a...

Hacienda Linda is a beautifully decorated B&B that immerses you in the Tucson Sonoran desert experience. Dan and Linda made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. In fact, they recommended a great stop for dinner on our way into Tucson before we even got there. The King Suite is wonderful. We really enjoyed spending time in the...
